Penetrating mini clitoral pump by Cal Exotics - review by Beck

Clitoral pumps are placed over the clitoris and/or the labia (depending on the design.) When they are in use they increase blood flow the the clitoris and/or labia, this is to increase sensitivity to the area. This is the same idea as penis pumps, which is the male option for pumps. Pumps can also be used on your nipples, but this one would not work so well for that purpose, due to the design.

This pump is designed with beginners in mind. The ball end stops you from over pumping, the suction is slow, and the vibrations are weak. This was the first pump I purchased, but I am fairly disappointed in it. I had a hard time getting this to suck right and the suction was so slow that I found myself very impatient with this pump.

The best occasion for this toy is a time when you have nothing else to do, but work with this pump. You have to be patient, relaxed, and work at getting the results you want. Otherwise it will be a waste of a purchase. It can easily be used by a partner or just solo. A pump should be used before sex, masturbation, or any other stimulation, that way you become more sensitive for the stimulation.

The pump is made out of two different materials TPR and plastic. The majority of the pump is plastic, but the cover on the penetrating parts cover, the oval ring, and the ball are made of TPR.

The plastic is smooth but firm with no taste or odor. Plastic has a safety rating of an 8, it is latex free, phthalates free, hypo alergenic, and non porous.

TPR is also known as CyberSilicone, which is a silicone with a rubber based compound. TPR is somewhat porous, but nothing like Jelly. It is not completely odorless, since it smells like rubber. The feeling of the TPR is different with each piece. The penetrating parts cover is squishy and somewhat sticky. The oval ring cover is squishy, but not sticky. The ball to pump is firm and thick, which reminds me of Nasal Aspirators.

The penetrating part have some texture on it, which is bumpy, but this penetrating part doesn't penetrate much, so provide little stimulation.

I will have to agree with Antipova's Review, about the design of the toy looking like something out of Willy Wonka. The coloring of this pump is purple and clear. This is light purple plastic handle with a clear funnel attached to it, which have an oval ring around the edge. Sprouted off the funnel is the large purple suction ball. On the side of the handle is a sliding switch, to adjust the penetrating part. The penetrating part is located in the middle of the oval shaped funnel. It has a TPR sleeve cover on it that is covered in tiny nubs. You can see through the plastic revealing the wiring from the penetrating part to the battery unit. (This is your basic science were you have on positive and one negative wiring attached to the battery to power something, but the something is a sex toy.) At the end of the handle is the twist dial to control the vibrations.

The total length of this toy is 5.75 long. The handle has a 3.25" circumference (1" diameter). The penetrating part is insertable 0.75" long and has 2.5" circumference (0.75"diameter). The funnel that goes over the clit and labia is oval shaped, which is 2" high by 1.25" across.

I find the size not to fit me right. I think you should measure your area before purchasing this pump to know if it will work for you. This was slightly too small, which caused a lack in suction for me. This toy is not about size for beginner, it is about size of your anatomy. The design is suitable for traveling, but you are going too need room for the ball in the suit case. The pump can be broken down into three pieces, the handle with funnel, the oval ring, and the suction ball.(Be sure to take out the batteries, so it is not running in the bag.) This is not at all discreet, but I am not sure people who didn't know sex toy would know it is a clitoral pump, they might think breast pump.

The pump is powered by 2 AAA batteries. These go in the battery unit on the opposite side of the sliding switch. The twist dial at the bottom of the handle, is how to power the vibrations. These are low to low/medium humming vibrations. They are fairly weak and for the power are loud. They sound like humming consistently, but they are not so loud that you can't cove them up with back ground noise.

The penetrating part is adjustable using the sliding switch. It does not allow for much penetration, but enough to tickle the outside of the vagina. The sliding switch does get stuck sometimes, which is a design flaw.

This pump is not waterproof.

The performance I will get into more detail in the experience section, but is a fail for me.

The pump does require some extra work to clean it. You should remove the suction ball and the oval ring, then clean them both with soap and water allowing both to air dry completely. For the pump I recommend using toy wipes to wipe around the funnel and the penetrating part and the handle, before and after using. Be sure to allow this to completely air dry in the open before putting it away.

As for storage, this should be kept in your toy box, night stand, or anywhere else discreet. I recommend storing it in a plastic bag, since the TPR collects hair and lint.

TPR is only compatible with water based lubes.

I have to agree with the others on the porn star packaging, it is very tacky! It is by no means discreet and should be thrown out as soon as possible.

What should I measure to fit this pump?

You should measure from the top of the clit hood to the end of the labia minora (bottom of your lips). Then you should also measure at the widest part from side to side. This will insure that you will fit in the pump, which will give you a better chance of proper suction.

I was a little scared at first to use a pump. This was my first ever. I pulled it out along with my Mimi in hopes of achieving a better orgasm with Mimi. I applied this to my clitoris and labia area, then begin to try to suction. I am able to get some of my labia inside of the funnel, but not enough to get a proper suction. (I guess my lips are too big for this size funnel.) When I did get some suction it was slow to release for another squeeze, so I found myself bobbing the pump on my clitoris and labia, just to provide stimulation. Then I decided to turn on the vibrations and slide out the penetrating part. The vibrations were weak, but really added to the pump. The penetrating part was just a tickle to the external parts of my vagina. I did not find that at all pleasing. After fumbling with this pump I gave Mimi a try, but I was not satisfied. Overall I think this pump was not for me, but it was okay.
