Keep the Kisses

This toy would make a good beginner's foray into the world of dual stimulation sex toys. It's affordable, easy to use, waterproof and not intimidating. However, if your anatomy does not line up with the toy, you may find yourself disappointed.

Use

This toy is made with beginners in mind, though I personally found the vibrations to be a bit intense. Like many dual stimulation toys, pay special attention to your anatomy. I found that it didn't excite me in all the right ways because the butterfly came to a rest over top of my clitoris. The G-spot stimulation was nice and the fact that it's waterproof is a great boon, but all in all, this is one butterfly I could go without chasing.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of TPR, so it has a slight tacky consistency and a faint plastic-like smell. It is waterproof and can be used in the shower or tub. The bulb for insertion is smooth and goes in easily while the butterfly (provided it fits) is minimally textured. It is a soft and pliable toy. I didn't think the texture did much for the stimulation, since the toy has a fairly powerful motor on its own. The material does carry vibrations well. The handle also had little hearts on it which, while it has nothing to do with the toy or how it stimulates, is cute as can be.

Design / Shape / Size

The size is well-suited to beginners. This toy is designed to stimulate the clitoris and G-spot simultaneously. Unfortunately, if your anatomy doesn't line up, it can leave you flat. The bulb provided some very pleasant G-spot stimulation with the right moves, but the butterfly didn't quite rest on my clitoris. Using this as a clitoris stimulator alone would be kind of clunky and impractical.

Though it is small and easily transported, this isn't the most discreet of toys. All things aside, it does have a very cute design to it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy has one motor, but the TPR does an excellent job of conducting the vibrations. The motor is located in the base and the vibrations are primarily focused on the clitoral butterfly. It has a single button on the bottom that cycles through three intensities of vibrations. I generally never needed to go above the first, since I found the last two to be stimulating to the point of numbness (though I am sensitive to vibrations; your mileage may vary). The toy is fairly noisy, so be sure to have a fan or water running and/or the covers over you. The best thing about this toy is probably the fact that you can use it in the shower. The running water covers up the loud, whirring motor.
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

TPR cannot be sterilized with boiling, so a good cleaning with some soap and water is all you can really do. It doesn't really have any nooks and crannies that make it particularly difficult to maintain, but the material is porous. This makes it bound to collect all sorts of nastiness inside of it so it's important to wash it before and after use and to use a condom if you plan on sharing it. It's not very big, so it's easily stowed away in a variety of places.
    • Easy to store
    • Hard to clean
Follow-up commentary
Since this toy is waterproof, I find it gets a little bit more use. I've since graduated to a much better, waterproof, dual stimulation vibrator, but this can do in a pinch. It doesn't devour batteries, the vibrations are pleasant and the bulb really does work in hitting the G spot. The butterfly might not nuzzle my clitoris like I want, but it still has a place in my toy box.
