No seriously, I couldn't keep them up.

I originally bought these as a more comfortable (and affordable) alternative to latex or PVC stockings to complete a fetish look. Wet Look products can be a good alternative these difficult garments, but they can also be cheap and disappointing. All the pictures I had seen were pretty flattering, and I couldn't find a garter belt I liked to keep the ones without the stay up grips from pooling around my knees, so I went with these and hoped for the best.

When they finally arrived, I grew even more skeptical. The material didn't have as much stretch as I expected, and had no structure to speak of, a combination that I wasn't excited about. They also seemed a bit smaller than most plus sized thigh highs I have, and so I was worried about them staying in place. I'm not a tiny person, especially in the thigh area, so finding thigh highs that fit can be a battle. It's always nice to find ones offered in a plus size, but not if they still don't stay up...

I tried them on, and they didn't stay up for more than five minutes. They started to roll down and slump, ruining the effect of the stockings. In addition, the material didn't cling and move with the leg the way I had expected (or seen in the photos) and I ended up with wrinkles and sagging around my joints. For a look that was all about power, precision, and order, these were just not going to make the cut.

All in all, I'd need a garter belt anyway to make these work, and even If I had one, I'm not sure the overall effect would be worth the expense.
