Looks sexy, packs a punch but isn't for everyone

The Lelo Ina is a worthy investment for the discerning vibrator owner. If you think rabbit vibrators are inherently ugly, give the Ina another look. It has the basic rabbit design, but none of the pink glittery weird animal shapes to detract from it.

Use

The Ina from Lelo is a dual function clitoral and g-spot stimulator vibrator. The clitoral stimulator is designed to flex and apply pressure to your clitoris while it's vibrating through one of the 8 vibration patterns you can choose from. It is worth your time to read the manual, since there are many options with just four buttons. I didn't realize until recently that you can lock the buttons for travel by pressing all of them down for a count of five (the lights go out to let you know the keypad is locked).

The Ina is my first vibrator. Until now, I've always done everything by hand (so to speak). I don't like the look of the pink sparkly rabbit vibrators, and I was intrigued by the fantastic styling of the Lelo line of vibrators. I picked the Ina since everyone could agree that the Ina provided the strongest vibrations of the line. It was a bit tricky to figure out all the settings, and honestly I came quicker than I wanted to because I hit the wrong button and made the vibration intensity increase accidentally! The Ina is a wonderfully designed vibrator, and it is a worthy investment. I'm glad I bought quality the first time.

Material / Texture

The Ina has a hard plastic "handle" end where the function buttons are located, and the shaft portion of the vibrator is a matte silicone which does not pick up lint the way other silicone toys do. The LED lighting on the function buttons is pleasantly subtle.

The clitoral stimulator does apply a firm pressure to your clitoris once the Ina is fully inserted. It took some getting used to since the vibration/pressure is so completely different than the pressure I usually apply manually. The distance from the vaginal opening to the clitoris can vary a lot from one woman to the next, so the Ina may not hit the mark for everyone. Also, if you don't like pressure on your clitoris, the Ina won't be a favorite of yours either.

The little white tab that closes the charging port is a little annoying. It doesn't always want to stay shut while I'm using the Ina. Often my hands knock the tab free, and putting it back properly is bit distracting while I'm trying to concentrate on something else!

Design / Shape / Size

I really like the Ina design. I'm thinking that I'd like another Lelo vibrator but without the clitoral stimulator. I have discovered that I have a preference for my own hand (or someone elses') on my clitoris rather than the Ina's clitoral "arm".

I wish there was a way to lock the vibration mode so that you could thrust with the Ina without worrying that you're going to change the vibration pattern or intensity. From my experience, it works best for me if I find a vibration patter that isn't too strong, and then use subtle movements to get the most out of the Ina.

The Ina should have won some sort of design award for the sleek lines and colors available. I love the look, feel and function of the Ina. This is indeed a luxury item, and comes backed with a one year warranty as well as a ten year warranty that kicks in once the one year warranty expires.

The Ina is not water proof, so you should not submerge the Ina, but you can clean the shaft with soap and water and let it air dry before packing it back into the black "silk" bag it comes with.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The functions of the Ina are pretty straight forward. Press the "+" button to turn the Ina on. If the keypad is locked, hold all four buttons down for a count of five and the keypad will be unlocked. To cycle through the vibration patterns. The UP/DOWN buttons navigate through the different vibration patterns, and it is nice that you don't have to cycle all the way through the patterns to get back to one you liked. You can cycle through the patterns backwards as well as forwards. The Ina isn't very noisy at all once fully inserted, but outside the body the vibrations are quite loud.

I charged the Ina for the full two hours before using it for the first time, and since then I've only charged it for a few minutes here and there. The Ina doesn't get used all that often, since it isn't always around when the mood strikes. I think that I need to play with the Ina more and discover different ways to get off on its functions. I know that the Ina works in ways I surely cannot, I will be spending some time getting to know Ina a bit better in the future.
    • Discreet sound
    • Long lasting power
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

The Ina can be washed with soap and water on the shaft portion, but don't expose the charging port or function buttons to direct liquid splashes. The Ina is water resistant, not water proof. The Ina can be kept in the original packaging which doubles as a storage box, or you can ditch the box and keep the Ina in the "silk" bag that comes with the toy. The bag is roomy enough for all the warranty cards, the Ina and the charger. The Ina holds a charge for a long time, and I've not had any problems with the battery being dead after it has been stored for several weeks. I put it on the charger for about 30 minutes every month or so just to be on the safe side.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The toy is packaged in a hard side black cardboard box, and the box is quite nice and suitable for long term storage.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

I'm glad that the first vibrator I purchased is of such high quality design and function.
