Seed - clitoral stimulator by Zini - review by unfulfilled

It's designed as a clitoral stimulator, but can be used on other erogenous zones that enjoy stimulation. It can be used during solo or couples play.

I consider this best for users that do not require a lot of power and who tend to like more buzzy vibrations. It is not intimidating in size so beginners and advanced users alike can enjoy this product if they keep the first statement in mind. However, if you require a lot of power and need more rumbly vibrations, this is not the toy for you. Please do not buy this toy or you will be greatly disappointed as I was and I don't want that.

It is made out of body safe silicone which is a 10 on Eden's safety scale, and ABS plastic which is an 8 on Eden's safety scale. The part that is used for stimulation is made out of silicone. the plastic is shiny and is located around the controls. There are seams where the silicone and plastic join together, but not on the point where the vibrations are.

It has anti-bacterial properties, is hypoallergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free.

It is velvety smooth and soft to the touch and has no odor which I always expect from my experience with silicone toys. It does not offer any additional texture for added stimulation so if you like texture then this toy would not be for you.

It comes in 3 color combinations hot pink/white, black/purple, or black/gold. I chose black/purple because purple is my favorite color. It is a nice deep purple and the color combination looks great together and is very sleek.

It is shaped like a seed or edamame pod. The end that is used for stimulation is more rounded and thicker than the other end. The other end where the controls are located is more pointed and thin.

It does not look like a conventional sex toy and is discreet enough to take with you on your travels. It even has a travel lock so it wouldn't get bumped in shipping or when you are traveling and accidentally get turned on. It fits easily in my pocket, but you could carry it in anything you normally carry your toys in such as a purse, or bag.

It is very small, ergonomic, lightweight, and fits in the palm of my hand. The dimensions are as follows:

It could be left out without fear of someone knowing it is a sex toy. If I saw it in your home and wasn't familiar with sex toys I might ask you what it was because I like the shape and color combination of it, but other than that I don't see you encountering any issues.

It has two adapters one for the US and one for those that don't use standard US adapters. I thought this was a great addition for those that are not in the US because they do not have to buy an additional outlet adapter for the toy to work. The charge/adapter hole is under a cap that says Zini similar to that of a cell phone charge outlet.


It is rechargeable and takes two hours to charge and has a three hour operating time. One nice thing about the product is that those that are impatient to try a toy out (like I am as soon as I receive it), is that it can be used while charging.

It has easy to use controls with three buttons (+) (-) (O). Push the + button to turn it on or – to turn it off. You will have to hold the - button for a few seconds until it powers off. Pushing the + and - buttons is also how you progress through the speeds.

It has five speeds and ten program modes with random pulsation patterns. It also has a display mode and a random pulsation option if you hold the circle button for a few seconds while it is already in pulsation mode. This allows the Seed to just go crazy and do whatever it wants. To enter into pulsation mode, press the (O) while it is already on. The pulsation mode patterns are as follows:

White: low-high pulsation
Green: Medium Pulse
Blue: Fast pulse
Orange: Low-high-pause-repeat pulse
Pink: Increasing pulse
Green: pulse-solid-pulse-solid
Purple:Medium-fast pulse
Blue: Slower pulse that continues
Pink: Pretty fast odd pulse
Bright Pink: constant pulse-pulse-pulse-pulse

I'm not really able to accurately describe the vibration modes, but level one is barely there and level five makes it jump all over the place if you set it on anything such as a desk or bed. Yet level five still does not produce the right amount or kind of vibrations that I need.

I like that it has the ability to go back to the previous setting by pressing the - button because if I accidentally passed my favorite setting I would have the ability to go back to it without having to cycle through the entire pattern sequence again.

The vibrations are very buzzy and tickle. I can feel the vibrations while holding it at the base and have never liked that feeling. It is very quiet even at the highest level of vibration or pulsation pattern. There is no need to worry about others hearing it when you are using it. It offers pinpoint vibrations with the tip which I know some people will find enjoyable.

Always clean before first use. Clean it with a wet cloth or rinse it under running water. You can also choose to use your favorite toy cleaner as long it is not alcohol based. Also do not use any rough or abrasive materials to clean the Zini. The instruction manual recommends not to use oil based lubes or scented massage oils because they may damage the product. It is best to stick with water-based lubricants because silicone can break down the silicone in the toy.

Keep the charge socket away from water as it is only splash proof and we do not want anyone electrocuted. Don't immerse Zini and adapter in the water.

To store, keep in a dry, safe, dust-free space. It is best to keep in travel lock position and in the included travel bag. It is very small so it is easy to store in any drawer or toy box.

It comes with two user manuals written in several languages including English. The user manual shows other Zini products and tells you thanks for choosing their product. It gives detailed instructions on charging, cleaning, troubleshooting tips, and safe keeping. It also explains their warranty which is one year from the date of purchase and free exchange within warranty period in case of defective product.

It comes in a gift box and has a storage pouch that holds the Zini Seed, the charger, and instruction booklet.

The Zini storage box is quite nice and can be used to store other items in it if you choose. I'm using the storage box to hold my Eden toy wipes that I've been collecting with every order. It will hold 7 individual wipe packages.

I really wanted to like the Zini Seed, but for me it's just a mini disco-ball that doesn't perform and get the job done. I love the concept of the Zini Seed and was so excited to finally be able to order this. The light combination is ingenious, but that's where the wonder stops. It does not deliver in power especially not like my Mimi does, and I have not been able to climax with it. I consider the Zini Seed not worth the Suggested Retail Price. No matter how cool the pulsation modes are and how cool the lights are that doesn't matter when it comes to the real purpose I am choosing, and that is reaching orgasm. It does not meet my expectations at all and I'm quite disappointed.
