The Seed that didn’t grow

The Seed from Zini is a luxury clitoral vibrator. As long as you don’t submerge this toy, it will last. It is shaped for external stimulation only, so use it on the clitoris or anywhere else on the body you like stimulated.

This toy is rechargeable. It can run for about two hours of use and charges for about three hours. There are color coded light indicators to show you how much battery power it has, making it really easy to tell when you are low on power, or how much charging remains. There is a rubber piece that covers the charging port on the toy which can be difficult to pull off if you have short fingernails like me.

The buttons and surrounding area on the Seed are made of plastic, and the part that comes into contact with your body is silicone. If you need lube, stay away from silicone lube as this could potentially degrade the nice soft finish this toy has.

The Seed is completely smooth, allowing it to glide across the skin with very little effort, and it also doesn’t attract a lot of dust or pet hair.

The shape is rather elongated, just like a seed, which fits beautifully in the hand. The tip allows for nice pinpoint vibrations, but you can also lay the toy against your body for more broad stimulation. It is 4” inches long and about 1.5 wide, so you could easily tuck this away, but if someone were to find it, it may take them a while to figure out what this is. It also comes with a nice storage pouch and box for discreetness.

The Seed has five vibration speeds and ten patterns. Pressing the “+” buttons will increase the vibrations and the “-“ will decrease them. Pressing the button in the middle will allow you to switch back and forth between steady vibrations and patterns. If you hold this button down, the Seed will go through each of the patterns, spending about 5 seconds on each. Also, each pattern is color coded so you can remember the pattern you like best. Holding down the “-“ button will turn the toy off in any mode quickly in case you ever get interrupted.

The vibrations are quite buzzy, and I find that my fingers will go numb after holding it for an extended amount of time. It is very quiet though, so it won’t be heard through a closed door.

It is best to clean this with wipes or a wash cloth since water can easily seep into the area around the buttons. The Seed could get damaged if water gets inside it. You can also wipe this down with a 10 per cent bleech solution to sterilize it.

The packaging for the Seed is just splendid. It comes with two instructional booklets, one is a user’s manual, and the other is a quick start guide in a variety of languages. This is very good to thumb through for some more information on your new toy. The box it comes with works well for storage, but there is also a storage bag which will fit the toy and charger for travel.
