I have used my Butterfly kiss platinum edition in the shower, bath and in bed. I found in bed to work best for me. I do know my shower is strong so maybe that is why I felt like I was being distracted from the vibrations of this toy. In the bath all the surrounding water seemed to absorb the vibrations as well. My bed made it all just right for me. The part you insert into the vagina was supposed to stimulate the g-spot, but I never got to that point. This is my first dual purpose toy and I started off thinking I would not like it, but I have competently changed my mind. I loved the butterfly. The antenna vibrate and stimulates each side of the clitoris while the body hugs around and on top of it. I believe the experienced and beginners would both enjoy this sweet butterfly kiss.

I have quite a few toys made from TPR / Plastic and they are among one of my favorite material types. It is firm, but soft. It reminds me of a real penis more than anything else does. I enjoy the smooth floppy hardness I get when I hold it in my hands. Some may find it has a very slight smell, but I don't notice it at all. The firm/soft texture this toy has definitely adds to my stimulation as close to real as I found so far. The material could be soft and gentle for those just starting out or even firm and realistic for more advanced users.

I had never used anything like the Butterfly kiss platinum edition before and I started off knowing I would hate it. I was absolutely wrong. I was put off by the butterfly. I didn't like the idea of having sex with an animal even if it was a cute butterfly on a sex toy it was still off putting. I decided to give the "try anything once" outlook a try and I am glad I did. The entire design of this toy is wonderful. It's really cute with a shimmery tone in the color. Near the base it has little hearts, then the adorable little butterfly mounted at an angled to vibrate on the clitoris. I think drop like ball at the tip is a bit out of place feeling, like it should be a different shape or something, but I don't take away from the stimulation. I also don't get the g-spot feeling and I am pretty sure it could be just me. It was a little smaller than I expected. It has an insert-able length of 3 1/2" and a circumference of 3 3/4" so it isn't all that big. I like them in this size range, but know of many who would like it larger especially for a g-spot toy. I can fit mine in the inside zipper of my purse so I could travel with it if I wanted it does like to collect bits and pieces like crumbs or dust so it would have to be in a container to be travel friendly. This toy is not discreet. If it were to accidentally join a group of people by falling out of your purse everyone would instantly know what it was.

There is a small button located at the bottom that is the control switch. One click turns it on, and then each click changes the vibration until off. It has 9 wonderful speeds. First low, second medium, third high, fourth 4 short pulsations and a split second pause, fifth 2 medium pulsations immediately followed by 1 longer pulsation with no pause, sixth we have 3 fast vibrations with 1 longer one and no pause, seventh 1 long vibration and a 1 second pause, eighth 1 fast vibration followed by 6 faster ones and no pause, ninth 4 medium pulsations with a half second pause. I enjoy all the settings. I don't have a favorite over another, my mood is always different. The control is easy to use because it is one button, but can also take a second to turn off because you have to go through the remaining speeds to get to "off". It has a good hum to it. It cannot be heard when the door is closed and gets a good bit quiet when under the covers.

Very easy to clean and care for. I use soap and water along with isopropyl alcohol. If you wanted you could just use one or the other. I store it in a little glass box I just bought so that it doesn't pick up any lint or things that might be around. It is a pretty friendly toy and you can use your favorite lube water, oil, or silicone base will be great. With no worries of any reaction.

Make sure to have really good batteries, I recommend name brand. I couldn't figure out the on/off switch at first because my new batteries were not as strong as the regular name brand ones and my toy stayed on no matter what I did unless I took them out and when I put them back it would just do it again. The vibration was so low I couldn't feel it with my hands and it did not change settings. I started to think I had a bad toy, but it was just bad batteries.
