Insignia Tiani 2 - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by LELO - review by minxx

This was the very first toy I have ever spent more than $50 to get, and probably the most elegant in my collection. There are several ways to experience the pleasure of the Tiani 2 - first, you can use it alone, with or without the remote. I personally loved using it with the remote on the vibration setting, and using the remote to tease my erogenous zones while the Tiani 2 itself took care of business! If the remote isn't your thing for solo play, you can also use it alone with the control button on the Tiani 2 itself. Another great use is during intercourse. Some people may have some trouble with this, but I found that using the flatter g-spot attachment was more comfortable when using it with my fiance. The final use that I thought of was a take on a "vibrating panty." Of course, it isn't attached to your panties, but since it is so small and fits so well, it works in the same exact way. Hand the control over to your honey or keep it for yourself, and have some fun!

The material is a soft, velvety-smooth silicone, which is a 10 out of 10 on the EF Material Safety Chart. This is a food-grade material that is non-porous, latex free and phthalate free, so you can feel confident about what you are putting in/on your body. There was a slight odor from the lovely box it came in, but the toy itself, along with all its freebies, had to scent to it at all. The tail attachments of the Tiani are VERY flexible, which allow it to flex to your anatomy without slipping around.

The shape of this toy is very unique. Think of the letter C. Now run it over with your car. Thats pretty much the best way to describe the shape. That is, unless you as my fiance. He thinks it looks like a sperm cell with its tail tucked under it. That's not exactly what some women would want to think of with a toy that goes inside! The Tiani 2 measures a little over 3 inches (3 and a quarter, to be exact) with all 3 inches insertable. The remote is just a little round disc that measures a little over 2 inches across. The design is very elegant and discreet, which makes it perfect for travel. If you left it out around the house, or if the TSA officer pulls it out of your bag at the airport, it would be a bit difficult to figure out the real purpose of this toy, unless they know what LELO is!

For the beginners reading this, I'd say that it's nothing too intense or intimidating, so if you have some extra cash, EF points, or both, it's definitely worth a shot.

Now, for the important questions. How does it perform? How loud/strong is it? If it really waterproof? Most important of all, how the heck does it work?

I have to admit, it took a bit of time to get the hang of how the thing works, and the instruction booklet didn't help too much. Here's an abridged, simplified version of how to get it going:

To use without remote:
1. Click the button on the Tiani 2 itself. A light will flash, letting you know it is in stand-by mode.
2. Press the button again to start cycling through the patterns.
3. To turn off, press and hold the button down until the vibrations fade and the light is off.

To use with remote:
1. Follow step 1 above. When the light on the Tiani 2 is flashing, turn to the remote
2. Click the + button on the remote. After a few seconds, both the remote and the Tiani 2 will begin to vibrate. This is the Sense mode, where you control the speed of the vibrations by tilting the remote.
3. To cycle through the patterns, press the center button twice. The first mode you come to is a stead vibration. Press again a few times, and you come to a steady pulsation, followed by a faster pulsation, a slow upward escalation, a roller-coaster pattern, and a pattern that is almost completely random on speeds. (That last one sounds almost musical to me, but that could just be me.)
4. To turn off, first hold the button down on the Tiani 2 itself until the vibrations fade and the light is off. Then, press and hold the - button on the remote until the vibrations fade and light is off.

*To turn the vibration off on the remote, just press the center button on the remote and hold for about 3 seconds, and the vibrations will stop. To turn them back on, repeat the same process.*

Now, does it perform well? Absolutely! The bees on this toy come in at about a 2, while the vrooms kick up to a 4 on the chart! Is it the strongest thing on the market? Perhaps not, but the design alone makes it stand on its own. The tail attachments flex to fit your body, and during use, I had absolutely no problem with it slipping. The head of the Tiani 2 is long enough to reach the clitoris on most women's anatomy, without getting in the way. (A fun idea - try doing some kegel exercises with this baby in. It helps move the head along your clit AND gives you a great workout, while helping you reach a fantastic orgasm!)

Now, the waterproof question. Honestly, I'm unsure. The tail has a plug that closes up the charging port inside, but I'm so used to seeing some sort of plastic ring that seals it off to prevent water from getting in. For this reason, I don't feel okay with putting a $160 toy in the water. However, the remote is DEFINITELY not waterproof, so if you plan on giving the waterproof test a try, don't bring the remote in with you!

The care for this toy is very simple - just use your favorite toy cleaner, or a bit of soap and water. Just be VERY cautious to not let any water get inside. Always check to make sure the batteries aren't leaking indie the remote, or remove them completely after each use. There is a lovely little storage bag included, so when storing, it is best to keep it inside the bag, since it can be a bit of a lint magnet.
