Slim smooth delight - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by systematicweasel

Slim Smooth Delight—delight is an overstatement. Though the product is slim and smooth, if falls flat on the pleasure factor. The toy is easy to clean, and its odd shape makes for an interesting time. But its vibration settings remind me of those of a sprinkler. Its power falls short on more than one of the settings; aside from the constant vibration setting. In fact, I found the teasing from the other settings rather annoying and a turn off. I also found the Delight a bit too loud; though it is quietest at its short burst vibration setting (which isn't that powerful, in my opinion).

Does this glow in the dark? Not really. The only glow in the dark piece on this entire toy is the small button that turns it on and changes the settings, and honestly, that function seems a bit useless, even as a novelty. Though I don’t plan on raving with this thing, the glow in the dark function is a nice selling point that just falls flat once you get it in the mail.

Packaging is a bit scary. It comes in plain, sealed bubble wrap. There are no instructions (though none are really needed, it is still nice to have) and no other wrapping around it, just a lonely toy in bubble wrap and a shipping box. I normally expect new toys to come inside some form of packaging aside from the shipping box and protective shipping items (peanuts, bubble wrap, etc).

As for the toy and its reaction to lube, I had no issue using it with the water-based lube I normally use, System JO H2O. It seemed to function properly with it and gave me no hassle.

The Slim Smooth Delight falls so short as a vibrator. Though it is beginner friendly, I would not recommend this for any beginner. There are plenty others that can do better, especially for the price. I notice it is a free gift on the site and there are no complaints there. But for the price of $25, you can grab something better and have much more fun with that.

All in all, this toy is a pretty disappointing one, and for the price, you can do way better.

This oddly shaped vibe is still a disappointment. This toy is still loud, can be easily heard through a closed door or through a comforter, and the vibrations are just as weak as when I first got it. The small button on the bottom is one of the most annoying things on the vibe since it is not the easiest to press, especially if you need to turn it off in a quick jam. And if you are ever in a jam (we all are at some point), this toy takes forever to turn off. Keep pressing the button until you feel it stop vibrating. It’s kind of like button-mashing a controller just to win a video game. With that being the only way you can turn it off, the vibe does not remember which setting you had it on last. If you want a certain one, you have to sit through all the others just to get to the setting you like the most. By that time, you might as well pick something else.

This toy is not a keeper for me. I recommend looking elsewhere for a good vibe at the same price. There are tons more that will get the job done way better than this smooth let down.
