Little honey - traditional vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by MissCara

I got the Little Honey as a free gift with purchase from Eden Fantasys a few months ago. I'm a big fan of clitoral vibes, so I thought I would love this. Sadly, some of the questionable design choices and lack of "oomph" has left it as another vibe collecting dust in my collection.

The little honey measures about 4 inches long, and features a slight wave or dip pattern near the tip. It's a push button control vibe and has 7 different vibration patterns and speeds that you cycle through by hitting the button. One thing I hate about this type of design is that if I accidentally click the button and move on to the next vibration pattern, I have to cycle back through ALL of the patterns to get back where I was. Also there is no "quick off" feature, so in order to turn the toy off, you must cycle through all the vibrations as well. One click too many and you will have to start all over. The toy runs off of 3 watch batteries and is waterproof, which is a plus.

One major design flaw in this toy is the light at the tip. That's right, there's a light on the vibrator that glows when you turns it on and even pulsates in time based on what vibration pattern you're on. Every one of my friends I've showed the toy to had the same reaction that I had: "Why would you need a light on a vibrator?!" That's one thing I've yet to figure out, other than the appeal of having a techno/rave party in your vagina. Also, the light would not make the toy "stealthy" to use in the dark without someone else knowing. In a really dark house, your roommates may walk by your door and wonder if you're playing with fireworks. Also, the finish of the toy is matte which is somewhat smooth and silky to the touch at first, but quickly gets rougher and shows a number of scratches from use. Lastly, the toy comes with a stretchy silicone (so it claims) band with nubs on them. Apparently the nubs are different depending on what color of the vibe you get. The overall impression I got from the ring was that of a cockring. The package had no mention of how to use this ring, but pictures on Eden Fantasys showed the ring wrapped around the vibe itself. I assume this was supposed to "provide extra stimulation" during use, but honestly the idea was so dumb to me that I didn't even bother to use it.

Overall this vibrator was "cute" in a sort of novelty way. I could see having a bunch of these at a bachelorette party for some fun, but not using them as a "real" toy. It may be a good toy for beginners or those who prefer gentler clitoral vibrators but the Little Honey was just far too weak for me. It definitely is a conversation starter though!
