Bacio me lip balm does what it says...but that's it! Nothing spectacular for the price

This lip balm is prefect for moisturizing those dry, chapped, under-treated lips. It nourishes, exfoliates, hydrates, moisturizes, soothes, and revitalizes! The first time using this balm, my lips felt soft and rejuvenated! I loved the feel of the Bacio me lip balm against my dry, supple lips. It healed my lips marvelously, smelled great, and lasted for hours on end. This is my go to balm. Principessa Beauty has certainly outdone themselves!

The Bacio me lip balm is initially a light, tan pink hue. When applied, this hue trickles down to a clear appearance. The balm is pretty thick and even in cold weather, it comes out very easily. The balm stays put on your lips and it seals in moisture. It kind of feels like it is weighing you down after a while, but I don't mind that feeling. It is notorious for coming off as I am sipping through a straw or kissing my girlfriend, so reapplication is definitely needed. If you aren't having to reapply because of the balm coming off, the moisture in the balm will keep your lips protected from anywhere from two to five hours.

The texture is between Vaseline and Chapstick- thicker than Vaseline and thinner than Chapstick. But of course, the texture is contingent upon the temperature of where you live. The warmer it is, the more the product will melt, making it a little runny.

I did not bother to taste the balm, except the residue left on lips. The taste is not really noticeable if you are just using it for your lips- as opposed to using it as a meal. The aroma is reminiscent of a vanilla-floral, sweet, powdery and amber smell (lasts about 15 minutes after application). If you've ever had Principessa Beauty products, then you'd know the scent in which I am attempting to describe. I would not suggest you use this for other parts of the body. The balm is expensive (at $22 an ounce) and that would deter me from suggesting use for alternate parts of the body.

Ingredients: Polyisobutene, Oetyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, (Cera Carnauba), Ozokerite, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Flavor (Aroma), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1)

This product, at least for me, lasts an approximate two to five hours. I love the fact that it moisturizes so beautifully and it leaves my lips feeling soft, supple, and desirable. If you want a natural look, you may want to look elsewhere because this balm appears to be shiny and it is noticeable that you have a lip product on when wearing this. Another great thing about the balm is that it is leak-free.

After I tried this product, using it on a consistent basis for 7 days, I noticed that my lips were overall a lot more conditioned. When I am asleep, I notice that my lips are definitely very chapped, to the point that when I wake up in the morning, I can literally feel a thin crust formation. After the seventh day, I noticed a decrease in the overall "crustiness" of my lips during these bedtime hours. I just make sure that the lip balm does not touch my skin. Since this product seals in moisture, it also creates a birthing ground for blackheads. To avoid this, I just refrain from application directly on the skin (the lips are fine).

There aren't any instructions included, but I'm sure you do not need to know how to use lip balm. This balm is very travel friendly. You can fit it in your pocket. I am not sure about the rules and regulations of traveling by air, so I cannot tell you if this balm would pass through airport security.

The packaging is simply the tin itself. It has the brand name and product name on top. On the bottom of the tin, the ingredients are listed. I would like to point out at this point that the tin is very prone to dents and scratches (the black paint can also scratch off easily). Also, it has a tendency to be very difficult to open. It took me five minutes of trying to figure out how to open this can. My mom joined me and she alternated lifting each side until the tin gave way. Even then, it was still a challenge. This should be taken into consideration when deciding to purchase this product.

The tin of product measures 1.75" across, 7/8" deep and contains 0.5 ounce of Bacio Me lip balm.
