Bacio me lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Principessa Beauty - review by cbmb716

This winter full of bipolar weather in the Midwest has taken a serious toll on my skin and my lips. They needed some TLC and they needed it fast. That is why I decided to buy a jar of the Bacio Me lip balm from Principessa Beauty and I am very pleased with the results.


The packaging is a small lip tin. It is black in color with a very light pastel pink (almost white) Principessa Beauty label on the top. It is very cute, but the tin is not very durable. Mine took quite a beating apparently and is now all scratched up and the top has a couple small dents in it. I am not exactly sure how this happened, I keep in in a compartment in my back pack which is on the very top away from my books and only contains pens and pencils.


The formula itself is very lovely! It is a tasteless lip balm which has been lightly fragranced with a slightly sweet fragrance that is not too over powering. This lip balm is long lasting and very hydrating, but at the same time it does not get sticky. There are no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or triclosans. Instead this lip balm contains ingredients like jojoba oil, beeswax, and shae butter.


Price wise, this lip balm is a bit on the expensive side. You are paying $10.99 for a 0.5 fluid ounce tin. However, because the formula is so thick and hydating, this luxurious lip balm will last you a very long time.
The size makes the Biaco Me lip balm a very easy travelor. I have one in my back pack, gym bag, and in my purse. I plan on purchasing another one soon to keep in my car. This lip balm also makes a wonderful and greatly appreciated gift. It fits perfectly into spa gift baskets too!
