Contour I - massager by Jimmyjane - review by Jul!a

In addition to both of us working long hours, we both do a decent amount of heavy lifting throughout the day. Needless to say, that can eventually take its toll on the muscles, causing tenseness and soreness. Most of the time we each prefer a lovely, all over rub down, but sometimes we need something a little more heavy duty than hands, or my tiny hands I should say, can go. Just like our M, my back was a little too bony for this to be used really comfortably, but he still enjoyed it.

I is brought to you by the fine people of Jimmyjane and is a set of 3 I guess you could say, with two other accessories (that can also be used by themselves): the M and the Q, which is actually 2 pieces. It comes to you nestled in a lovely box that comes complete with a little pamphlet that gives you a couple different ways you can use it, safety and storage instructions, and how to clean it, etc.

Because I is made of a double fired porcelain, it's body safe, durable, and you can use pretty much anything you want with it for a massage aid. You can heat it up by placing it in a bowl of warm water (never microwave it) or cool it down by placing it in the fridge or in a bowl of ice water.

To me, I looks a lot like a futuristic dog bone. I know a lot of people have said that, but I'm saying it too. Someone with smaller hands can easily place their hand on the slim shaft in the middle and apply pressure and roll the I around for massage. Larger hands might have problems with that. You could use I with M and let M do all the rolling, although it can get a little loud. You can use either end for a more precise pressure point. Or if the mood leads you that way, you can even use I as a little 5 1/2" dildo. Jimmyjane has also been kind enough to post up a little guide that you can follow as well.

Jimmyjane recommends cleaning I with a mild detergent and warm water. I just walked on over to the bathroom sink and used the liquid soap I had right there and dried it off with a clean towel.

I found the I a little easier to use than the M, simply because it seemed more catered for small hands, where as the M was harder for me to manipulate after a while. I still have the same problem with this one on my back in that it's really bony in general. Spine, shoulder blades and all that fun stuff, and I isn't any more protrusion friendly than M really. I found that the only places I didn't really have any problems with having I applying any real pressure was the meaty part of my stomach, the palms of my hands, and the soles of my feet. However I did absolutely love having it lightly rolled all over when it had been chilled. The smooth finish on I just felt heavenly.

Since my fiance's back is still a bit meatier than mine, I was able to really get some good pressure and knot working out going. I's wider end ball didn't let me get as deep into it as one of M's nubs would, but if you don't need all that pressure, it's best not to have it.

I did also find that depending on the lotion or oil you're using, mostly with lotions, that just like M, I will also pick up some of the dead skin off the back and smear it around some. It cleans right off, so don't worry about that.

We're happy with I overall, and can't wait to finish the collection.

I still haven't managed to finish off the collection, but we both still enjoy I anyway. It definitely gets much more use on my husband than on myself because despite gaining some weight from working at home my back is still pretty bony. But it does still feel good on the meatier areas of my body and lightly rolled around.
