Little Afterglow Sampler is a great addition to your home decor or your sensual collection. I am in love with the whole set. These candles are great for anyone, whether it be for your significant other receiving massages or that girlfriend of yours that just had a birthday. They are very versatile and great to have. I personally think it would make a great brides gift or for a couples gift.

I highly recommend these candles for aromatherapy reasons or a great massage oil. They burn at a low temperature, smell great and are a great design.

At first, the oil feels greasy and slippery, but once it gets massaged in, it takes on more of a powdery feel. It doesn't leave any residue and the only reason why I see washing it off is if you put way too much on in the first place. It pours out fast so be careful, especially if you let the candle burn awhile first. It doesn't take all that long to start solidifying, but it can definitely make a mess if you aren't paying attention. My husband can break out on his back quite easily and I have not seen where the oil has caused any issues in that department.

I can't say enough about the scents of these candles. They are all great. My favorite ones are pink lotus, dark vanilla and truffle and gardenia. My least favorite was the pink grapefruit, probably because I don't care for the fruit and it smells just like it! Even though it was my least favorite, it is still enjoyable and my husband seemed partial to it. I can also say that once these candles burn, the aroma sticks around awhile, with the pink grapefruit especially. I was still smelling the candle a couple days later!

I think all the scents are very true to what they are called. I have heard conflicting comments on the bourbon, but my husband said it smelled like it to him. I found them to be pretty spot on myself. I do want to stress though that if you have strong allergy issues, bourbon may bother you some. It is a great smelling candle that clogs my senses a touch.

I was really surprised at how long the oil lasted. It does not take long for the candles to produce enough oil for a full body massage. About 15-20 minutes and you should be good to go. If you apply enough right off, I see no reason to reapply at all depending on how long you massage. I give my husband pretty lengthy massages for knots in his back and just the pleasure. I haven't had to reapply unless I move to a different area.

At first, the oil feels silky and kind of greasy, but you can also feel a slight waxy feel. It absorbs into the skin nicely but does last awhile first. You aren't going to put it on the skin and get it to absorb right in. Once it does absorb right in, it doesn't leave any residue but leaves you feeling kind of powdery. It is very refreshing.

Also, I was a little worried about the temperature of the candles when you pour it on the back or into your hand, but they actually burn at low temperatures and are extremely nice feeling on breezy nights. I love all the scents that they have, but unfortunately I got a little stuffed up with one of the scents. I have allergies and even though these are nice, all natural candles, the bourbon one seemed to bother them a little. If you get bothered by incense or musky smells, you may have this same problem with the bourbon scented candle.

After burning the candles, they go back to solidifying but still stay really soft. You can get some by rubbing your finger in it a few days later but wreck the candle doing it. It is suggested to straighten the wick out after each burn to keep it easy to light again.

The packaging on these candles are great for gift giving. They come in a great sampler box that has a ribbon decoratively tied. Inside they are settled into sections with an insert that gives great suggestions on what to use first and after to really awaken the senses. The insert leads you to believe it can be for more kinky activities, but the box and candles themselves can be displayed no problem without people wondering if they are more than just great smelling candles.

The candles are in these great ceramic holders that are indented on one corner for easy pouring. They are chic and simple and look great out on a dresser or mantle. I think it's a great idea for reusing the holders once the candles are all burned for different trinkets. As much as I love the candles, I am excited to see what I can do with the holders after. Overall, the package was safely put together in a stylish way and definitely discreet for anyone.

I think it is great that this is a two in one gift. The scents of these candles would liven up any home, and on the flip side, they can enhance the most intimate of times. A candle that can dual up as a massage oil without leaving residue, feeling gross or burning you is incredible.
