Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by Ebbseptional

I have really dry lips and I heard everyone talking about how much they loved this so I decided to give it a try. My lips get dry and cracked especially in the winter and I usually use carmex, blistex or a cocoa or Shea butter stick. I wanted to use something a little less harsh smelling and something a little more girly. I tried this and I didn't really like it. I think that it would be good for someone who didn't start off with really dry lips. Like if you had just occasional chapped lips from say the wind or sun, this would be good for you. Nothing really spectacular to say about it especially because it feels waxy when you put it on and stays on top of your lips instead of absorbing. It kind of felt like cocoa butter to start with but it did not melt and get smooth like it should have.

Another thing I didn't like about this is the shape. It is in a ball shape which is cute but not practical if I do not want to carry around a bag or anything. It is uncomfortable to just put in your pocket and frankly looks stupid because it just bulges out of your jeans. It has a nice smell but besides that, it is not a great chapstick. Also, when get down to the end of it, the chapstick falls through the container; kind of like when you finish deodorant and it is soooo annoying because there is so much left and you just cant reach it.

I was pretty confident in this because I have used other EOS products like the shaving cream which were amazing but this product just did not make the cut. I would not buy this again but will continue to use their other products.
