Silky Smooth Lips

This lovely organic lip balm by EOS comes in a variety of flavors: sweet mint, honeysuckle, lemon, summer fruit, strawberry sorbet, and tangerine. For my first purchase, I went with summer fruit; I will be reviewing it here.

This smooth lip balm is great for everyone, regardless of age or gender. My boyfriend has used it on his dry, cracked lips, and I have used it on mine to keep them kiss-ably smooth. No matter what yours look like, EOS organic lip balm will leave you with healthy, shiny lips. So, pucker up!

When you twist off the cap, the lip balm appears smooth and creamy. This is exactly how it feels when you apply it! All you need is a couple swipes to be left with a light coating of silky lip balm.

What I absolutely love is how there is no oily or sticky feeling left over. If you run your lips along each other, they will glide over one another with ease. Even when I apply an extra coating for protection from harsh winds, it still feels soft and lightweight.

ESO organic lip balm is not tinted, but it does give your lips a healthy shine. I will admit, I always feel a strong desire to kiss my boyfriend when he applies this product; his limps look so tempting!

EOS organic lip balm is indeed scented. When you first open the round container, you are hit with a light, fruity scent (hence the name summer fruit, I suppose). When applied to the lips, you can still smell it. It is not strong or off putting in anyway; rather, it has a pleasant, airy quality to it.

As with most scented lip balms I have tried, this product does have a light taste. Even though the lip balm smells fruity, it does not taste this way. It's hard to explain what type of flavor it leaves in the mouth. Neither my boyfriend nor I mind it, though.

With EOS organic lip balm, a little bit goes a long way. This is by far the longest lasting lip balm that I have ever used! With just a roll or two, my lips feel hydrated and silky smooth. It will be several hours before I have to reapply, which means the product will last for quite a long time!

In fact, since my boyfriend likes to sleep with the fan on, I always apply lip balm before going to sleep (it helps prevent my lips from drying out). More often than not, when I awaken, I can still feel a hint of this balm on my lips.

In addition to lasting so long, this product greatly improves lip health. When my boyfriend started using this product, his lips were cracked and dry. Within less than a week, the quality of his lips was noticeably better! Now he uses it on a daily basis to help keep his lips hydrated.

The packing for this lip balm is different from other products I have encountered. It is an oval shape, with a finger groove that makes the container comfortable to hold and open. The base is flat, so the product stands up and won't roll away.



The only downside to this lip balm is that it is a bit big. I don't really mind it since I can just place the product in my purse, but my boyfriend doesn't like the awkward bulge it leaves if he puts it in his pocket.



When I received the product, it was not in a box or plastic container, which I liked since a bunch of materials weren't wasted. There was a thin plastic material wrapped around the container though, so you would easily know if it had been opened. After peeling off the film by the perforated seam, I recycled the plastic and was ready to apply the lip balm!
