EOS Organic Lip Balm is 100% natural and 95% organic with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter, and jojoba oil. It is gluten-free, paraben-free, petrolatum-free, phthalate-free, and most importantly, cruelty free.

After always using petroleum based lip balms from Vaseline and always getting that sticky aftertaste, it is very refreshing to feel the difference of an all natural, organic lip balm. Many lip balms are petroleum based and that’s kind of gross to put on your lips. Petroleum based lip balms actually dehydrate your lips so the organic ingredients in this lip balm is what sold me.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Beeswax (Cire D'abeille)*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Natural Flavor, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract*, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract*, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract*, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract*, Linalool. * Organic.

This lip balm has a firm texture to hold it's cute, spherical shape but it is not overly hard. It applies on in a really thin layer so in order to get a good amount on you have to really go over your lips a few times. It’s not overly sticky or greasy and it doesn't melt in the summer heat. I've left this in my car all day in the hot, Florida sun and I surprisingly didn't have any issues with this product melting on me.

Not only is this lip balm organic, it also smells and tastes really good too. I have both Honeysuckle and Summer Fruit and when I first opened the lip balms the smell won me over. Both scents are very light and I love using them during the hotter seasons. The Honeysuckle smells very sweet and fruity. It reminds me of the exact smell of honeydew melon. The Summer Fruit also smells sweet and fruity. This scent is hard to pinpoint but it reminds me of a mixture of peaches and apples. They both have a slight taste to them that resembles how they smell. They're not strong, nor do they taste bad.

EOS Organic Lip Balm goes on clear with no shine. It has more of a matte look when applied so you are able to wear this by itself or even underneath your lipstick. It provides great moisture and protection for my lips, and the best thing about it is that it does not burn when applied to chapped lips. It is moisturizing for healthy lips but it will not help your chapped lips at all. Although, it will help you not get them in the first place. If you have severely chapped or cracked lips, you will probably need to look into using something a little more medicated and moisturizing. I don't feel it gave me a really good deep treatment for my lips but it does its job. Either way your lips will feel, taste, and smell great.

EOS Organic lip balm comes in a sphere shaped container with a twist-off top. The lid is very easy to remove and snaps back on securely so you won't have to worry about the lid coming off when being tossed around in a purse. You get 0.25 fl.oz. of lip balm and mine lasted me a little over 2 months. I was actually impressed with how long this lip balm lasted me considering how much I seemed to apply it.

The packaging is very well suited for dropping in your purse. It does takes up more room in your purse than the average stick versions of lip balms, but I have never had to dig around for this one. I can always just reach in my purse and find it no matter where it is. It's not as practical as other lip balms as it doesn't fit as conveniently into your pocket. So, if you don't carry around a purse, you might not grab this one every time you leave the house. I think the shape is totally unique and fun. One thing I don't like about the shape of this product is that once you get to the end of the lip balm it becomes hard to apply because it evens out with the sides of the container. There is nothing sexual about this lip balm making it completely discreet and great for gift giving.
