I feel kissable...oh so kissable...and yummy too!

The only way to explain how much I love these is to say I'm putting my money where my mouth is. I'm currently working on an order for a review product Eden is assigning me and I'm adding to my cart (for free shipping) this product in the following aphrodisiacs: camu camu, mangosteen & acai. I may add Goji Berry too, I can't decide for sure on that.

Highly recommended even if you decide to only put it over ice cream...the taste is that realistic and good.

Use

I want to start out with a brief note of apology to some of my followers for all of the DONA reviews I've been doing lately. I know y'all enjoy lingerie reviews and other bath and body products - and I promise you - I will be doing more of those later this week. In fact, I have new products from another beauty company to work on reviewing later this week...so I promise - I will not be on a DONA kick forever. After all...they only make so many products...right?

As many of you may also know, when I contacted a representative at DONA to get more information on their complete line of products, she had them put together a box of items for me to try. Knowing that body butter was a weakness of mine, she put in three of their body butters. One item that was put in, I knew there was no way I'd ever use...the kissable body drizzle. My husband just does not get into edible stuff cause it always tastes fake...and I'd look silly kissing and licking my arm.

You see, I've tried the Kama Sutra chocolate and strawberry products that are kissable. They're ok...but nothing my husband could really get into. He hates anything with an artificial flavor or a chemical aftertaste or scent - and they had some sort of an aftertaste with them.

So I smiled at the idea of trying this drizzle once I knew it was coming and when the box came, I even put it aside for a bit because I didn't want to be disappointed in a product by DONA. However, I'm so glad that I broke down and opened the container and tried it. My first thoughts were "YUM" and that is what I think every time I see the bottle.

So what exactly is kissable body drizzle? Well, it is a liquid that your squeeze out of the jar and put it on your body. Due to the fact that it has plant-based glycerin in it, I would not use this internally or for a guy to give a gal oral sex with because it might get inside you even if you don't mean for it to. It would be great for a woman giving oral sex to a guy or for putting on the nipples, the neck, the earlobes, or anyplace else you want to kiss and or suck.

I have never been one to enjoy nipple stimulation but my husband put this on me and was sucking it off while stimulating my clitoris and I went wild. There was something about this drizzle that changed the way he was sucking and the only way I can explain it is that it is the difference between sucking on a cough drop because you have to and sucking on a candy where you love the flavor. You just seem to suck on it differently (or at least I do). I could have had him play with me that way for a long time and that is very rare for me.

Because this is a bath/beauty product, I do recommend that you consider a spot test somewhere on your skin where it won't be too painful if you break out.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The easiest way to describe the texture is always to show it - so here goes.

First placing it on my finger

Holding it up for a few seconds to let it drizzle down

I would say that this is a medium consistency. It is water based so it wouldn't be thick like a body butter is and it does pour out of the container onto your skin.

One of the things that I love about it is that after you lick it off, there is no sticky feeling left behind. I'm not sure how they did that - but there is no waxy feeling, greasy feeling or sticky feeling. Of course, there is also no moist/softener feeling as if it was a moisturizer - but then again - it isn't a moisturizer.

If I put some on my body and then go to spread it around, it spreads around almost like a whipped Yoplait yogurt but without as much firmness. It spreads easily and doesn't run.

Taste / Aroma

The closest product I can compare this taste to is Kama Sutra Edible Body Souffle in the strawberry flavor. However, where that body butter has a bit of a cream cheese taste to me (mixed with strawberries), this is more like a fresh strawberry yogurt that is fresh and yet a tiny bit tart.

There is literally no aftertaste like you get with so many products. I keep trying this product again and again and I can not find any sort of bad aftertaste.

The biggest shock though comes from my husband. He hates anything fruity that is artificial and not the "real thing" because of the aftertaste you get. I have caught him, more than once, opening up the bottle and squeezing a tiny bit onto his finger. He smiles at me and claims, "I saw it and needed to do a quality control check to make sure it was still good."

Sure..that's what I'd been saying whenever I walked by this and did that...for once did our minds think alike? Heaven forbid!

I do want to point out that I have the Pomegranate Martini drizzle even though I find it tastes like strawberry.

I only have one complaint about the taste of this product. It is addicting. My husband has tried it, my daughter has tried it (it was sitting out on the kitchen counter) and I've tried it and we all find that whenever we walk by it, we want to sample it yet one more time.

Personally, I'm seriously thinking of getting some vanilla ice cream and drizzling some of this over it. I think though it will taste best with French Vanilla ice cream.

Performance

What can I say? It stays on your body quite well until you lick it off. It spreads evenly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling behind. It was never able to stay on my body long enough to soak in, but it never felt greasy or oily or sticky or anything else.

We love everything about this product.

Packaging

This comes packaged in a very small bottle with a cap that opens so you can drizzle / pour the product out.

Here is a photo of the bottle:

The only real instructions on the bottle are:

Drizzle on your partner for a tasty treat. Conditions skin while having sexy fun. Pour on your partner as a topping and enjoy!

I do wish that it gave calorie count per drizzle.

Personal comments

It is important to note that when DONA lists an aphrodisiac like Camu Camu or Pomegranate or any of the other aphrodisiacs, they are NOT stating that is what the fragrance is. The fragrance is not the aphrodisiac. They are instead, sharing which aphrodisiac has been put into this particular product.

Also, I have not reviewed the "aphrodisiac" qualities of this product because what might work for one person might not for another and might give yet a third person a placebo effect. So I have based my review on how the product works (as it is designed), how it smells, and in this case, how it tastes.
