If you are looking for something to clean textured toys or moderate to heavy jobs of bodily fluids, this is not the toy cleaner that will be best for you. It does a good job on smooth, less textured toys if they are cleaned right after use. It also clears your toys of bacteria with a simple spray and wipe. I am glad I bought this; it just isn't exactly what I was looking for.
Easy to use, fresh & sweet smell, anti-bacterial, doesn't degrade toy material like soaps can
Not a "cleaner" of bodily fluids, not what I was expecting

extremely useful review
I have had this other toy cleaner for a while. It lasted over 18 months! Even though that toy cleaner worked wonders, I really wanted to try something that might be a little better. Things can always get better right? That was the idea anyways. While this spray does make my toys feel clean, I am not sure that I feel like it makes them as clean as my previous toy cleaner.

This Before & After Adult Toy Cleaner from Classic Erotica is an anti-bacterial spray. It is easy to use and can be used on even the most sensitive materials. Beforehand, the spray can freshen up your toys and get rid of any harmful bacteria that can cause infection. Afterward, the spray can be used to clean the toy by disinfecting it as well. It does not contain any soap so it is not best for toys with lots of texture that may collect a lot of "junk". It is also not good for cleaning toys that have dried juices on them. So while this is not a heavy duty cleaner, it is great for making your toys safe, freshening them up, and doing light immediate cleaning.

Deionized water, Cocamidopropyl, PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance

It also contains no harsh soaps.

It should be noted that some people can be allergic to cocamidopropyl.

This product may cause irritation to the eyes if it comes in contact with them. It should also not be ingested.

At first this stuff smells friggin amazing! It reminded me of cherry LifeSavers. The smell changes after a few seconds though. It changes to something less desirable, cough syrup throat spray. It does not linger long though. Your toys will have no smell later on after it dries.

My last bottle of toy cleaner was the same size as the smaller version of this-4 ounces. I chose the 4 ounce version instead of the alternate 8 ounce version because my last bottle lasted me about 18 months. I imagine this bottle will last me or other weekly toy users at least a year.

The bottle is plastic and clear. It has a simple push spray top that also comes with a cap. The label on the spray is semi-discreet. It is blue and in large letters says Before & After. In much smaller letters it says Adult Toy Cleaner.

To use the instructions say the following: 1. Spray on... 2. Wipe off...3. Have fun! (The incorrect instructions on eden said that you rinse after spraying. This is why I bought the item in the first place.)

This is what leads me to believe that it is not a "cleaner". Anything you just spray on and wipe off cannot possibly do any heavy or even moderate cleaning.

I first used this on a non-textured silicone toy. It had just been used and there was little bodily fluids on it. I used a few sprays. It was hard to cover the entire surface of the toy without going spray crazy. I then wiped it down. After it dried, I inspected the toy. It felt smooth and silky. I didn't find any residue or bodily fluids that were left over. I then used it on a toy that had sat out for a few hours after play. This toy was of a matte silicone. The spray did not clean the toy. There was still leftover fluids on it after it dried. Once I realized that this is not a soap cleaner, I really was not expecting it to clean as well as my other toy cleaner spray. It does however works wonders in combination. I really like to use this spray on my toys after I have cleaned them. It also does something my other spray does not. It can be used before play without having to rinse etc. It makes my toys feel clean and bacteria free right before I am going to use them.
Follow-up commentary
I'm still not impressed with this "cleaner". I am still using it, but that is only because I could not bare to through it away. It does a decent job, but it does not do it well enough. I won't be buying it again. I do appreciate that it is easy to use and sprays well, but that is about it.

I have this too. I need to throw it away. It seems to be fussy about what it feels like cleaning and what it doesn't. Oh well, there are better things out there.
    Great review by the way!

This is the first (and only) toy cleaner I've ever had, I bought it before learning ANYTHING about toys. I'm glad you posted this review, because I'd have nothing to compare it to otherwise. I think that with my next order I'll have to pick up some of the other spray you use. Unless, at this point, you have anything better you'd recommend? If it makes a difference, I clean my toys within an hour after use, so it's pretty soon if not immediately after play, and I also usually clean them before use (especially if it's silicone and a dust magnet!)
