The InfraRed Massager is a fantastic massager for those achy muscles at the end of the day. This big boy does not do well as a sexual massager, but it makes up for it in the feel of each of the five attachments against wound up muscles. If you purchase the InfraRed Massager to treat yourself to a massage like no other, you will certainly not be disappointed.

So, let us get down to the guts of this one. The InfraRed is made out of plastic. This massager is a plug in massager, so you never have to worry about pesky batteries. It comes with five attachments. Our first attachment is an all purpose massager that has seven bumps that protrude about half an inch from the surface of the attachment. It has a very firm head and can be used all over the body. The second attachment is a scalp massager. It has many soft studs that comb through your hair and feels wonderful against your scalp. Next on our list, the third massager is a dual massager that is classified as Shiatsu type fingers, or two cone shaped stubs. This attachment is meant for deep tissue massage. Our fourth attachment is a lotion massager. It is the smallest attachment that is a spongy, non porous material contained in a hard base. You can apply lotion to the attachment and massage it into your face. This also works great as a buffer, and feels good against the skin. The final attachment is a spot massager. It has a simple, single cone that can be used to massage specific points.

Lets talk specifications. This massager is a good 12 and 1/4 inches long. The head of the massager, without an attachment on it, measures about 9 and 3/4th inches in circumference. The cord is also wonderfully long, it goes to six feet. The smooth, round back of the massager lights up red and emits the heat.

The biggest con to this massager is it is extremely loud.

The InfraRed heat is a wonderful therapeutic. It has been shown to help with a large variety of illnesses and diseases. It helps with Rheumatism, gout, swelling, inflammation, (arthritis). It is also wonderful for tendonitis, back, shoulder, neck and muscle pain. It helps with body circulation, and carpal tunnel syndrome. There are many other things that are helped with InfraRed Heat.

The controls of the massager are a breeze to use. The control is an easy slider, that has two options for settings. The first setting is low vibration and high heat, while the second is high vibration and low heat. Personally,low heat setting, and a high vibration high heat setting. A high vibration, high heat setting would be fantastic for those extra-sore muscles after coming in from work all day!

To care for the InfraRed is rather simple. A damp wash cloth works fantastic for any cleaning that needs to be done. As it is a plug in electric toy, you should always take care and keep it away from water. There are many common sense warnings that come with the InfraRed that are included in the instruction booklet that is inside the packaging.

The packaging was a rather plain snap-together casing. It molded around the massager and attachments. It had an insert that had the name of the massager and information on it. The packaging also contained an instruction booklet. I would not recommend storing the massager inside of this packaging, as it is relatively flimsy, and bulky.

For a sexual massager, this really tanked for me. Using the nubs to stimulate the clit was hard, as it was rounded and slid off far too easily. I wish that I could say that it was a fantastic sexual massager, but the experience was simply lacking.

For an all over the body massager, however, this bad boy is fantastic! I have really tight muscles in my back, and rubbing them with the massager, with attachment or heat, felt wonderful against it. It helped my back out tremendously. It also feels wonderful to rub against the neck or scalp. I have to be careful when I use this massager because it feels so good it will nearly relax me to the point of falling asleep.

One of the biggest things that interested me was the fact that infrared heat is good for arthritis and inflammation. My fingers and wrists get extremely stiff from the repetitive motion of typing. I also have a problem with tennis elbow. When I found out that infrared heat helped with these, I had to try it out with this big boy. I used the low vibration, high heat setting.

Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I took the heated end of the massager over my fingers, palms and wrists for about five minutes on each arm. I then moved it up and down the tendons of my arms for about five minutes on each arm as well. When I stopped focusing on moving the massager up and down the muscles, and wiggled my fingers, they felt very nimble. They did not have the stiff feeling that they normally carry, and it was absolutely fantastic!

The InfraRed is really a fantastic massager, and worth the price despite not being a fantastic sexual massager. I would recommend it to anyone.

I am still a fan for this massager. A few months later, I still love it, and I use it almost daily for aches and pains. It is a great massager.
