Good Clean Love's Passion Candle is a 100% vegan multi-purpose candle with a hemp wick and a 40-hour burn time. Good Clean Love uses your purchase monies to support peace initiatives worldwide. This massage-oil candle is made for the skin. It can be used for hot oil massage, as a regular aromatic candle, or for hot oil erotic play. The candle does not contain any wax and is completely non-toxic. If you have perfume or essential oil allergies, you may want to be careful with this product, as it is rather heavily scented and the product label does not disclose which essential oils are blended into the mix.

The surface of the candle inside its tin is deliciously smooth and supple; it almost has a buttery consistency to it, and you can pick up the moisturizing oils even before setting the wick aflame. The Passion Candle burns evenly, and the wick does not emit any soot into the air.

It's a high-quality vegan candle that is environmentally friendly and sustainable. The oils in the candle heat up to 101 degrees, according to Good Clean Love, which is the perfect temperature for the oil to feel warm on your skin (or your lover's) without fear of burns.

Once melted, the candle's oil feels decadent on the skin, soft and warm, and soothing. It's not sticky or greasy, but rather richly moisturizing and easy to rub into the body. The scent becomes much more mild when applied to the skin as compared to smelling it in the candle tin (think of a good perfume; it can sometimes be overwhelming in the bottle, but changes for the better when you wear it).

The Passion Candle is great for beginners to hot oil massage or candle/wax play (even though it should be noted that this candle is entirely oil-based, and mixing it with wax play will cause a royal mess!), and even those more experienced looking for an easy way to incorporate more romance into the bedroom.

The smell of the Passion Candle (Origins scent) can be a little off-putting, at first. But don't distress! The aroma disperses nicely and blends deliciously into the skin. It smells clean and fresh, with a hint of something exotic, though it's hard to put your finger on the exact notes of the essential oil perfumed candle.

The packaging states that the Passion Candle has a 40-hour burn time. After a number of uses, the tin is still half-full, but those in for a long night of couples' massage, or what-have-you, may find that the oil (and thus the candle, as well) goes much quicker.

As stated above, it's a great skin moisturizer and does not need to be washed off immediately after use. It will, however, come off easily in the shower or with soap and water like most other moisturizer products.

The texture of this candle's oil is definitely the best part! It feels so heavenly on the body, and is such a treat for the skin.

It's a little bit difficult to get over how strong the aroma is at first whiff. Suggestion: Don't shove this under your partner's nose and ask what they think! Just light it in the background with some other candles, and when the time for massage comes, if you choose to use it for that, the scent will not be the first thing on his or her mind!

The product is packaged in a 4 oz. tin with lid. There are no detailed instructions included, but it's pretty self-explanatory. It looks like any other natural, high-quality candle, and is definitely both discreet and suitable for travel.
