Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by MrsRobinson73

This is a very unique organic lip balm product. The egg shape is unlike anything I have encountered with lip-products before. The shape definitely makes it recognizable, and the screw-top design makes it stay together until you want it to open. More on the drawbacks of this design at the end of my review... I am a lip balm addict, and can be somewhat picky about what I will pucker up for. However, I fully approve of the Evolution of Smooth Organic Lip Balm.

The EOS organic lip balm is amazing, and I love that it is organic! It is sodium lauryl sulfate free, paraben-free, petroleum-free, and it contains Vitamin E.

I had a pink one -- the Strawberry Sorbet flavor featured on Eden Fantasys, I believe. It smelled amazing! It was very light and fruity, and it felt great on my lips. The moisture was long-lasting, but not at all greasy, and there was no icky residue. There was also no waxy texture on my lips, either. It just left my lips feeling smooth and shiny. I love that there are so many fragrance/flavor options for this lip balm. It is very kissable, and there has got to be a scent for everyone. The fun colors make it easy to find in a cluttered purse, as well.

The only complaint I have about this organic lip balm is that it is very inconvenient for pocket-storage. If you want to take it with you, you really need a purse/clutch/etc, so that you do not have to hold it in your hand. The egg shape would not fit in my front pockets, and back pocket storage is not an option if you will be sitting down at all -- it's very uncomfortable to sit on! This is problematic for me, only because I do not always carry a bag. As a lip-balm-a-holic, I need lip balm within arm's reach at all times; perhaps the stick form of this product would be better for me.

I still love this organic lip balm. I recently bought another one in the mint flavor, and am getting used to the egg shape. Great investment!
