Simply sensual body scrub - scrub discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by Femme Mystique

I bought the Simply Sensual Body Scrub to replace a sea salt scrub I recently ran out of. I have really dry skin year round, so I use scrubs a few times per week on my back and shoulders to exfoliate away my dry skin. I like a scrub that's gritty without being irritating, something that feels like a good back scratch, and this fits the bill. The scrub is about as thick as cake frosting, and similarly when you scoop it out, indentations are left in the remaining scrub. Unlike frosting, however, this scrub is not sticky.

The scrub comes in a 7 ounce clear plastic jar with a peach label and a thick lid. It is difficult to open with wet hands because it is so smooth, but I just use a washcloth for extra grip. There is an inner plastic piece that keeps the scrub from getting in the lid as well as a clear plastic spoon to scoop out the scrub. The scent of this scrub is pomegranate ginger, though I think it smells more like grapefruit. It is a fairly strong smell, though not overwhelming, relatively unisex, and very refreshing. The scent lingered on my skin for about an hour after my shower.



The scrub is light pink in color and is a pretty fine grain scrub. It's almost like sand from the beach, it's so fine. I was worried that this wouldn't be as effective as my previous scrub, but the exfoliating properties of this scrub are amazing. So far, after 2 days of use, my skin feels significantly smoother and softer.



To use this scrub, use the spoon or your fingers to apply to wet skin. Don't apply while directly under the shower stream because you will just wash it off. Rub into your skin well and rinse. There will be some lingering oils after the scrub is rinsed. This product also contains shea butter and vitamin E, which are great for moisturizing the skin.

I can't believe what a big difference this has made. After a month of generous use a few times per week, my once scaly shoulders are completely smooth. I just ordered more so that I'd have it when I run out. I couldn't be more pleased with this product!
