Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by Hex

I love these little EOS lip balms. I own quite a few of them but my favorite is the sweet mint (with summer fruit in a close second). It keeps my lips very soft without being too heavy like many other similar balms on the market. The egg fits nicely in your hand in spite of its size, and has a kind of ergonomic little notch in the side which is both unusual and kind of nice at the same time. The lip balm itself rolls over the lips easily and does not bend or break off which is really nice.

It is not exactly pocket friendly as the "egg" is rather large and it actually hurts my legs in skinny jeans! This is solved simply by carrying a purse but if you wear tight jeans and don't like purses, this might not be the best lip balm for you, oddly enough. I would think this would not be a problem for a man wearing a looser jean or pant.

I find that this is not the best lip balm for winter as well. I prefer blistex for winter as the EOS tends to dry out on me when it gets too cold. The EOS makes my lips feel flaky when it dries out, and as someone who can't stand the feeling of dry lips, this actually makes me a little nervous. It is a great summer balm and most of the scents/flavors are summery anyhow!

If you are a lipstick wearer, I will tell you this is not a good chapstick for use with lip make up. It does pick up the color when rolled over. If used underneath lipstick it creates an almost clumpy dry look, so I would stick to a typical lip conditioner for use under lipstick.

This lip balm is fantastic and my husband loves when he sees me pull out the little green egg because knows that means I am open for kisses.
