Sugar, Sugar--Aw, Honey, Honey.

This is a wonderful sugar scrub; the light scent and easy use makes this a clear winner. Its major downfall is its high oil content, but if you can get past the slip 'n' slide aspect, your skin will love you.

Scrubbed very well, easy to use, smells nice.
Cons
Left my bathroom floor slick, the scent was very light and didn't linger, oil settles to the bottom.

Use

The Milk Made Smoothing White Sugar Scrub is an exfoliating body product made to remove impurities, and provide a silky soft finish to exfoliated skin, while softening at the same time. Although this product will work for both men and women, it's more marketed towards women--though gentlemen will certainly enjoy having soft elbows, too!

Meant to be used in the shower or bath, I would recommend not using it in the bath, just due to the high sugar content that can cause infections if you're sitting in it for an extended amount of time.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The Milk Scrub has an extremely dense texture; it's very crystalized, clearly defined sugar granules suspended in coconut oil. The oil makes it much more spreadable so it's easier to use. It's difficult to pour out of the bottle, because if you do so the oil can run out, leaving you with a jar full of sugar, but it's very easy to scoop. You also should bear in mind that if you leave the tub sitting properly for an extended amount of time, all of the oil will seep to the bottom, so just flip it upside down before use so the oil spreads out.

The scrub feels a bit oily, and my major problem was that, after scrubbing my legs, it left my bathtub floor slick until the oil rinsed off.

Taste / Aroma

The scrub smelled very much like a vanilla cake batter, very light and milky. The odor was very gentle and dispersed almost immediately. I liked the odor, but it's a little bit peculiar--it doesn't smell dominantly like vanilla, but has a base scent that, I guess, would be the milk. It would blend well with other scents, since it's very light, but I'd recommend it was used with fruitier scents than muskier scents since I found those worked best for layering.

Performance

This scrub worked really well; it left my skin soft and the large granules made me feel like my skin was being appropriately exfoliated. The scent did not linger, and it was mild enough that even if it hadn't dispersed so quickly it would not provide annoyance to those who didn't favor the cake-like odor. It was easy to wash off skin--but it did leave me a bit oily, so I had to do another rinse than I usually would.

Packaging

It came packaged in a plastic tub, with a safety seal. I received three different tubs, and every time the seal was broken in transit, meaning some of the oil leaked out and the product was harder to use--I don't think I'm getting rejects, I just think that the seal isn't strong enough to handle a shipper's manhandling.

The tub includes the following wording:
Nourish and exfoliate at the same time. Slough away dryness and replenish your skin with this sweet, vitamin enriched blend of whole milk, white sugar, cocoa and shea butters & coconut oil. Your skin will be deeply hydrated, velvety smooth and ravishingly radiant (smooth skin delivery...Milk Man not required). Au lait!

For the VERY best results (and super dreamy skin), start with milk made body frothing bath & shower cream and follow with milk made body hydrating moisture milk).

It also includes a list of ingredients:
Sucrose, caprylic capric tryglycerides, parfum, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, cocoa seed butter, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid, tocopehryl acetate, water (aqua), hydrolyzed milk protein

This is a fairly large jar (20 fl.oz.) and will last a while; I've used it about 8 times, and have over half the jar left.
Follow-up commentary
Now that I'm getting down to the bottom of the tub, I'm finding that there's a LOT of oil, so the sugar is swimming in it. There'll be a lot of oil left over when the sugar's gone. Maybe I can just pour some regular coarse sugar in and make lemonade out of lemons? We'll see...

I got this one. Really thick and does a good job too. It does the oily bottom of the tub thing too.
