Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by rosythorn

Texture:

I love the texture it is very smooth and doesn't feel too greasy. I am sure someone will think it feels greasy but I think it just feels like it is packing a ton of moisture! But it doesn't feel overwhelming so I can still put on a color of lipstick if I feel like dressing up a bit. It does feel a bit harder then some lip balms, but I have some beeswax ones with similar texture.


Smell:

The smell is awesome! It is light and not too overpowering, and I kept wanting to lick my lips. I have only tried the Sweet Mint, but I am sure I'll buy some more soon. Or I'll try their other products. Also it is not sticky! I hate sticky lip products.


Lasting Power:

I thought that for the most part it stayed on for about an hour. Which too me doesn't seem like too long, but I think that is about average for lip balms.


Price:

It is sort of pricey. Most of the time I spend $4 on lip balm. But maybe every once in a while this would work as a special treat.


Packaging:

I also love the container it is in! I think it is innovative that is it egg shaped. And it's nice in my purse because I have several lip balms so if I want this one it is easy to identify! Though it is a bit bigger then my other lip balms, but it's worth it! It is just really fun to pull out and put on.
I also like the color of the container!


Conclusion:

I'll be buying this product again! I might also buy it as part of a care package or gift to someone. I think it would be cute in a stocking or a gift bag.

After two months I have decided that this is a nice lip balm. I think I might get it again. Or maybe I can convince my parents to make it a stocking stuffer!
