Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by Honeybee

First off, let me make it clear that I use lip balm all the time. I keep a tube on my desk and in each of my bags so that I always have one with me. I'm really sensitive to artificial textures and smells, so I normally stick to beeswax lip balm. My friend had one of these lip balms, and I was always intrigued by them, as they look so different from the normal, stick lip balms that I am used to. When I saw them on EdenFantasys, I finally gave in and tried them, and I'm glad I did!


I ordered the Sweet Mint and the Summer Fruit. The Sweet Mint was exactly as described - a nice, subtle, minty flavor that wasn't too overpowering. It didn't really make my lips tingle (like my normal lip balm does,) but that's not a bad thing. The Summer Fruit is very pleasant; it smells like a bunch of exotic fruits. The smells are not too strong - you can definitely smell them on your lips, and they do last for a little while, but not too long, and they are fairly subtle as they fade.

On that note, the balms themselves last longer on your lips than other lip balms do. They are not waxy, and they are very smooth and soft. They make your lips very soft and nice feeling.

The size of them could be both good and bad. They are obviously round, but are also a lot bigger than the standard tube of lip balm. The upside of this is that they wouldn't get lost in the bottom of your purse as easily. However, they are a little bulky and lumpy if you're trying to put it in a pocket of your purse that is close to the sides.

The EOS lip balms are really great, and I would recommend them to anyone.
