Tastes Great, Feels Great

Although it's eight bucks for one tube, Eos lip balm is the only balm I'll use. I can't get enough of the tasty lemon flavor and I love the way it makes my lips feel.

Use

Eos Organic Lip Balm is essentially a souped up Chapstick. It comes in a wide variety of delicious favors (the Lemon Drop is my favorite, it doesn't taste like there are chemicals in it) with really beautiful pastel colored applicators. I especially like that the applicator is shaped like a little ball, with a thumb-sized indent for when you put it on. The only downside to the shape is that you can't comfortably slide it into your pocket, but if you carry a purse or other bag, that's not a problem. I tend to get really dry lips, and my Eos really helps moisturize them. I don't like to use any other lip product for healing my lips.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The Eos Lip Balm is thick and smooth. It's the sort of balm that you expect to leave a thick, white residue on your lips, but it doesn't. Every time I apply it, I wind up checking to make sure I don't look like some sort of weird clown, but it never leaves a residue. In fact, it just gives a little shine to my lips and makes them look beautiful. I don't need to keep reapplying gloss, if I have my Eos on.

Taste / Aroma

The smell of the Lemon Drop Eos is lovely. It is a crisp, clean, lemony smell, without seeming like you are wearing a cleaning product on your lips. It tastes like sucking on a lemon drop, as the name implies. Neither the smell or the taste are exceptionally strong, but both are noticeable. My boyfriend loves to give me a kiss after I have applied the balm because he likes the taste of the lemons, and I enjoy tasting it when I put it on, as well.

Performance

I only need to apply my Eos three or so times a day, but I am a Chapstick addict. I used to go through a tube every month, and my Eos has lasted since Christmastime. It lasts several hours after each application and leaves your lips moisturized and lemon flavored. Both the flavor choices and color of the applicators are catered toward women, but I don't know any man who wears anything but Carmex anyway. It's also great that Eos is gluten free and uses natural flavoring. I won't use other balms.

Fab first review! I love that you talked about how long this lasted you. I was pretty curious about that. I like for my chapstick and lip glosses to last forever since I use them very often. Thanks for sharing so much detail!

I just bought sweet mint and strawberry sorbet tonight. I hated the lemon about a year ago and threw it out but I decided to give the brand another try. I like those two flavors.

I thought this was just an adult-store product, until I say it in a major store yesterday. I'd say that's pretty a good sign for this product.
