The Pulse from Liberator is designed to hold a dildo or vibrator in place while you just go to town. The hole should be able to fit most average sized dildos with very little trouble. There are pockets on either side of the hole that will easily hold a small vibrator if you enjoy clitoral stimulation as well. The pocket will be able to hold bullets, eggs, most discreet vibrators, and little wands.

This particular piece of furniture is very rounded, so it can easily rock back and forth. For this reason, it is more for a flexible person with good balance. You need to have good balance because you have to use a lot more than just your leg muscles to keep it from going back or forwards too far.

I have mine in leopard print, but it also comes in a multitude of other colors, such as tiger print, blue, red, tan, purple, or black. It’s made of velvet, which feels wonderful against the skin. Lint and hair love to stick to it so you’ll need to have a lint roller handy, so you can give it a quick brushing before each use. There are no rough edges that will stratch or dig in to your skin. The Liberator logo is on one of the corners, but likely no one will know what it is unless they have something from Liberator.

As with most other Liberator products, there is an inner waterproof layer that will keep fluids from getting into the foam. You won’t be required to take this out because a simple wipe down with a wash cloth should clean most messes. The zippers are thick and sturdy, and therefore won’t get damage easily.

The Pulse is rather bulky. It has a hight of 13”, a length of 20”, and a width of 12”, so it can be difficult to store. I just keep mine in a cardboard box in the closet because there’s really no where else I can keep it.

The foam is quite dense, so it will hold up your weight very well. There is no right or wrong way for using the Pulse. However, I find strattling it is the way I prefer to use it. Usually I squat, having the Pulse between my feet while still sitting on it. You can also kneel down, strattling the Pulse between your knees.

Unfortunately, the shape and size won’t fit everyone. I find it to be a little to wide and short for me. There’s nothing I can do about the width, but usually I’ll put a pillow beneath the Pulse to raise it up a little. Putting a pillow under it reduces the rocking motion, and it tends to stay in place better.

The outer velvet layer is machine washable, but it is a good idea to let it drip dry. The inner water resistant cover is also machine washable. Each end of the Pulse is slightly different, so you have to be careful which way you put the covering back on. You may want to be careful about what lubricants you use because silicone lube can be hard to wash off.

I’ve managed to use my Pulse with a number of products. The Astrovies Aquarius, Croupier, and Fantasy G all fit well in here. Basically anything with a base diameter smaller than 1 ¼” will be fine.

Overall, I am really happy I got the Pulse. I love the ability to use my toys hands free. My legs get sore afterwards, but I need to work on those muscles anyway. I think it’s great for any experienced user who is looking to enhance their solo play.
