Sensual bath towel - towel discontinued by Close2You - review by PeachieClean

These towels are quite nice. I got them on sale so I got them for about $5 a piece and I'm actually considering getting more now. They are quite large (52"x29.5") and can nearly cover my entire body length-wise. (I *am* 4'10 though) I found that, when I wrapped it around myself, it went down pretty far. I felt covered enough to scurry to my room when I was at someone else's house. Plus, the towel nearly wraps around me twice. I really love the size of this towel.

It is, however, thin. It's not a thick, plush, super-soft towel. It is quite functional though. Despite the fact that it's thin, it was enough dry off both my boyfriend and myself. I'd say that it would be more than enough to dry off a regular sized person as well. Some people will be put off by the thin-ness and assume that it's not very absorbent but I promise it is. If nothing else, we can assume that the extra length makes up for the fact that it's thin, meaning it works just as well as a normal bath towel.

The one really unique thing about this towel is the "Close2you" embroidered on one end. It's pretty much exactly the same as in the photos. Mine was the same exact purple as the photo, though that may vary from screen to screen. The logo is a little stiff, but it's not scratchy and it's actually pretty awesome looking. The stitches are all very well placed and give the letters a really cool texture. The "2" is my personal favorite part, since the stitches have to go through swirls which look extra neat. It's too bad the product photos don't show it. I've been using these for about two weeks now and so far, no sign of wear. I've washed them with my light colored laundry every few days in cold water (I wash everything on cold) and I haven't had any issues. I'd say it's safe to just treat these like any other cotton towel, because the decoration isn't going anywhere.

Because the towel is so thin, it's quite travel friendly. It rolls up smaller than other towels and fits in a suit case well. Also, these came in the mail folded and in a plastic bag. There isn't anything that screams "sex!" or "sex toys!" or "I bought this from a sex toy shop!" about it. Also, I'd say if you're into making gift baskets, these would go well with some of the other bath-and-body products sold here on Eden.

About the only thing I wouldn't say this towel can do as well as any other towel is hold heat. These wouldn't work well for a nice warm towel after your shower because they are so thin. I don't really see this being much of a problem for most people since most people don't really use towel warmers.

I have two of these, and they have stood up very very well. After a wash every week, nothing has started to unravel or come apart. Since the weather has gotten warmer, I've started taking them to the pool and to the beach and everyone thinks they are just the cutest towels. They were so surprised when I told them how much I paid and where I got them! It was quite satisfying.
