This is a water based lubricant which can be used with just about every type of material they make toys out of. Although, always check before using any lubricant with a toy to make sure it is compatible. This lube can be used for masturbation, with toys, vaginal sex, and anal sex.

This is hard for me to describe because it is pretty middle of the road. It isn't sticky or greasy at all, although it does leave a little bit of an oily feel on my skin if I let it completely dry. It isn't thin and runny for a water based lube, but it isn't the thickest lube I have experienced either.

I like the texture vaginally a lot because it mimics my own lubrication really well. Anally, it was a little too thin and absorbed too quickly.

I do not have the most sensitive nose, so I didn't detect any noticeable aroma and neither did my partner. He and I both noticed a slightly sweet taste to this. It's not super sugary, more like an artificial sweetener but very mild.

This product contains parabens and glycerin which a possible allergen to some people. I don't have a problem with them, but some might. The best thing to do with any product that touched your skin is to spot test on a small area before use. If you spot test make sure that you wait a full 24 hours for a reaction before using the product.

I found this lube to be a great basic. It is most effective for me vaginally. It felt very natural for both me and my partner during PIV, and I felt natural while using it solo. I don't like a lot of drag on my lady bits and this created a slick surface for my toys to glide over.

This works O.K. for my anal toys, but I wasn't thrilled with its performance either. It was fine with my silicone plugs, but I need to reapply with my rubber ones. It absorbs fairly quickly into my skin, so it is not a long lasting product.

I find that it leaves a very slight residue on my skin that feels a bit like you have used lotion. I wasn't bothered by the texture, but if you are it can be washed off with soap and water.

This was packaged for shipping in a plastic bag in case of spills like EF ships all their liquid products, which I always appreciate.

It comes in a plastic bottle that you can push the top to open and squeeze out the amount you want. The hole that the lube comes out of is smaller, so it won't end up with more than you intended.

The label on the bottle includes directions for use:

"Apply a small amount of JO Personal Lubricant to genital areas. For condom use, you may apply inside and/or outside of condom surface."

And Warnings:
"If irritation or discomfort occurs discontinue use and consult a doctor. Very slippery of surfaces. Clean spills immediately. Keep out of reach of children."

I am very happy with this overall. It works really well with my silicone toys, but my rubber ones need reapplication if I am using them without a condom for an extended period of time, which I try not to do because they are porous, but some of them are designed to be used without a condom due to the texture.

I think that this is a great basic lube for just about anyone's toy box as long as they aren't allergic, hence the 4 stars for me. If I didn't have to reapply, and it was hypoallergenic, then this would be a 5 star product for me.

I've never really needed lubricants until I recently picked up silicone anal plugs to kick off my new anal adventures. I picked this up because it was reasonably priced and had good reviews.

I found it to work best with my silicone toys and plastic toys. I found that I had to reapply when using rubber which was frustrating on occasion. Reapplication was only necessary when using my rubber toys for an extended period of time.

I like this lube, but I don't love it. I don't regret purchasing it, but next time I need lube I may try a higher quality brand for comparison.
