H2 Okay

A good amount of lubricant for an inexpensive price. Feels natural though does need reapplying if you plan to use for anal play. Does contain parabens and glycerin, so not good for those who are allergic to those ingredients.

Use

The System JO H2O lubricant is a water based lubricant that can be used as an all around lubricant. You can use it with a partner or with toys. Its great for toys that are silicone based that have drag to them for easier use espically with toys that you plan to use anally. There are some Parabens and Glycerin in this product, so if you have an allergy to them this would be one to steer clear of.
    • Good for anal

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is very slick and runs very easily, but that is expected with water based lubricants. Even though I found it to run a little quicker, it is not a thin lubricant it has a slight thickness to it that when use vaginally, felt natural.

When used for anal, I found that I would have to reapply as it would absorb easily into my skin but I have come to expect that from water based lubricants.

Afterwards, it did not leave me feeling greasy, oily or sticky.
    • Slick
    • Smooth
    • Thin

Taste / Aroma

Having a fairly sensitive nose I gave this a good sniff and found it to have no aroma what so ever.

As for taste, while this is not meant for oral use, I still gave it a quick lick and found that it really didn't seem to have a taste at first. But then there was a slight sweet after taste that didn't linger too long.
    • Light taste
    • No smell

Performance

The System Jo H20 lubricant does contain parabens and glycerin, so it does have some allergy concerns for those who have sensitivities to either ingredient. For me it didn't leave any redness or irritaton on my skin, so it works well for me in that regard. If you feel that it may be a concern for you, the best thing to do is give it a spot test on your inner arm to see if anything comes up.

During vaginal sex, the lubrication feels natural and gives a boost to ones own natural lubrication so I found it to be best for that use. While this doesn't necessarily mean it is bad for anal, you should be prepared to reapply in those cases because it has a habit of absorbing easily into the skin.

Clean up was very simple, while it doesn't leave residue it still cleans up very easily with soap and water or wipes.

    • Allergy concerns
    • Feels natural
    • Reapply often

Packaging

My bottle came packaged in a clear plastic bad that had been knotted at one end, which is good just incase there spillage in transit which I have never had. The bag can easily be recycled or reused, I tend to reuse mine with the bottle when they go back into my toy boxes to prevent any accidents from things getting moved around.

The plastic bottle has a push top to open and squeeze out the amount you want, much like a shampoo bottle so you are able to get out only what you need with out over doing it. The label on the bottle includes directions for use:

"Apply a small amount of JO Personal Lubricant to genital areas. For condom use, you may apply inside and/or outside of condom surface."

And Warnings:
"If irritation or discomfort occurs discontinue use and consult a doctor. Very slippery of surfaces. Clean spills immediately. Keep out of reach of children."

Both sets on information are in 4 languages including English.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Does not leak
    • Very informative packaging

Follow-up commentary
I am still using it depending on which of my many lubes that I grab that is packed into my current sex toy drawer. I haven't grown to dislike it at all, but it still works and I have only used about 1/4th of the bottle at this point.
