System JO lubricant can be used for lots of different things; from massage, penetration, whenever you need some slickness in your routine. I really enjoy using this stuff for manual stimulation of myself and my partner, anal play, and the occasional PIV. There are parabens in this slippery stuff, though. So if that's a major concern for you, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not a personal concern of mine.

The viscosity of the System JO H2O is really quite nice. Not thick at all, easy to manipulate, but not so runny that it falls away from where you put it. I have found that the warmer the area I put it on, the more runny it is, but I find that to be expected. This stuff feels a lot like a silicone-based lube. A LOT. It doesn't need to be reapplied nearly as often as a water-based lube, either. Also, because it is water-based, it doesn't stain sheets and is incredibly easy to clean up. No greasy after-play feelings left on you or toys.

I will say that for massage and cupping play, it has a tendency to become a bit flakey. Not so much that it's problematic, though. Just enough to notice.

System JO has a light smell that to me just smells like lube. It doesn't smell like much else. The taste isn't awful, just a little chemical-like due to the ingredients. There's a fair amount of glycerine in here too, and you can definitely smell/taste that. It isn't off-putting, but it is noticeable.

This stuff gets the job done. I've used it for everything from massage, and cupping, to fisting, and anal play, and I've never had complaints lodged from partners. Of course, the more intense the activity, the more you need to re-apply. But I don't need to re-apply it nearly as often as other lubes. I often get asked by partners who have never used it, if it's a silicone lube. It's also really nice not to have to worry about toy compatibility. No silicone-on-silicone breakdown to worry about. It's really easy to clean up and doesn't stain clothing or sheets if you wet it quickly. You don't necessarily need soap to clean this stuff off of you, but it's helpful.

I truly wish that System JO sold this in a pump bottle. That's my chief complaint... trying to squeeze lube out of this bottle can be a bit difficult with already-lubed up hands.

The product is packaged in three main sizes, which is nice. I do so wish that there was a pump-version.
The bottle top has a tendency to come loose from time to time, which can make things a little messy.

This is one of my favorite lubes on the market, and I can't wait to try the anal lube they make. I've been told that it's thicker and longer-lasting. I've never had any adverse reactions to this lube, and nor have any of my partners. A lot of my partners enjoyed the lube so much that they've gone out and bought it for themselves.
