Come play and ride, up on my slip and slide!
If you're looking for a great water based lube to use for vaginal or anal use, this is a great buy. I wouldn't recommend this one for hand jobs though as it can get sticky when using it for that. There's no odor, and it doesn't have a bad taste. Even though it didn't work well for a hand job, I still give this one four stars since it still kept me wet and slippery!

Pros
Long-lasting, stays slippery and wet, no odor, doesn't taste bad
Cons
Not good for hand jobs
System JO H2O Water Based Lubricant is of course a water based lube, not silicone based, which is great because water based lubes can be used with any type of sex toy without having to worry about damaging your toys. It's also very easy to clean up after using. Simply wipe off any excess lube with a towel. I have found that if left on me, I do feel a little sticky. It's not bad, but it is still a little sticky to me.
This lube comes in an easy to squeeze bottle. All you need for vaginal or anal lubrication is about a dime size. As you will read in my personal experience, it does not really hold up well for hand jobs, which is one of the main reasons we purchase lubes. I have found that after only a couple of minutes, the lube dries up and gets sticky. But when used as vaginal or anal lube, it does last a long time and it holds up to all of the promises that it makes, such as being latex safe, washing off easily, and feeling silky and smooth.
It has no smell, but it does have a slightly sweet taste to it, quite like a berry flavor. So what is it made of? The ingredients are: Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, Glycerin, and Purified Water. You want to be careful because Glycerin does have a reputation for causing yeast infections. Parabens, which are also an ingredient in this lube, can also be found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, cleansing gels, topical pharmaceuticals and toothpaste. They are also used as food additives in some products. Basically, a huge percentage of the products you buy for everyday use contain some form of paraben, so it can be difficult to find products that do not use them. Now, before anyone says anything, I know that there have been studies on both sides of the argument… parabens are bad and parabens are ok. Methyl Paraben and Propyl Paraben are considered generally recognized as safe for food and cosmetic antibacterial preservation. Methyl Paraben is readily metabolized by common soil bacteria, making it completely biodegradable. It is readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract or through the skin. However, allergic reactions to ingested parabens have been reported, so be careful when putting this lube in your mouth.

Experience
We were in need of a new lube because we were running low. I was looking for something that was water based, that would last a long time, and one that would not get sticky. After reading the reviews on the System JO H2O Water Based Lubricant, I knew that this one was for us. So I purchased the 4.5 ounce bottle for $12.99, and I am happy with our decision, but I still think I may try a different lube next time.
We use a lot of lube. We've been having this bottle of lube for about a month and a half, and we still have a little less than half a bottle. I really don't have a problem with my vagina drying up during sex, I usually stay pretty slick naturally. We mainly use lube for anal sex and for hand jobs. This was my main reason for wanting a lube that doesn't get sticky. But contrary to the other reviews that I read, maybe it's just me, but this lube does get a little sticky, especially when I'm giving my husband a hand job. The reason I want a water based lube for hand jobs is because I also like to tease him with my mouth at times as well, and I don't want silicone lube in my mouth. Due to the stickiness, I was a little let down. But this lube does work well for us as an anal lube and occasional use as a vaginal lube.
Having said that, I am still happy with the lube. I'm just disappointed that it didn't work well for a hand job. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great water based lube for general purpose use.
