ID millennium - lubricant by I-D Lubricants - review by oldman

Crystal clear: just what the doctor ordered!

It is hard to find a good silicone lubricant so when I find one, I am a pretty loyal customer. ID Millenium will be stocked in our lube box at all times. It is good for penetrative sex and works exceptionally well for masturbation. Buy a large size, save money and rest assured that you won't run out any time soon!!

extremely useful review

This is a silicone lubricant for sexual acts between adults and/or toys and for masturbation. It is silicone so it should only be used with silicone friendly toys. It is not compatible with silicone toys because it will break down the toy material.

Starting with a small amount, and adding as needed, apply the lube to the desired area (penis, vagina, clitorus, masturbatory sleeve) and go from there. The lube should make movements between skin/skin or skin/toy smooth and easy. If not, apply more lube until you get the desired amount of slipperyness.

Use cautionary measures in the shower/bathtub because this lube will be extremely slippery. Make sure you have something to hold on to if using in the shower, or better yet, do not use in the shower. If you ignore this warning, be sure to clean the area with soap and water.

You do not want to use this near fire or flames (like a fireplace!) because it is flammable. Also, I recommend using something like a Liberator throe because the silicone may stain some babrics. If any reaction (swelling, itching, redness, irritation) occurs when using this product discontinue use, was off with soap and water and seek medical advice from a professional.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is not a thin lube. It is about the viscosity of most shampoos I have used. It is very easy to spread on the area where you want it to be. It is not so thick that it will stay in place; it will drip if you put some on your leg and then stand up. By testing it between your thumb and index finger you will immediately notice the slipperyness, which is what you want from a sexual lubricant. It is smooth and slick.

Taste / Aroma

There is no odor or frangrance to this product. There is a slightly bitter taste, which you will want to sample if you are going to use this and then do some oral. It was not so awful that I would not want to do oral, but if given a choice, I would do oral before applying this stuff.

I used the ID Millennium silicone lubricant for both vaginal penetrative sex as well as masturbation with and without a sleeve. I did not test it for anal sex and I am not familiar with the lube requirements for anal so I offer no comment in that field.

It worked great for us. Two pumps was adequate to start penetration and continue for 20 minutes. We stopped and did some mutual oral for about 10 minutes. When we got back to vaginal sex, we found it necessary to repply. I don't see this as a negative because we were going pretty hard and for awhile. I don't know of any lube that would last that long without the need for reapplying lube.

It does not absorb easily into the skin so I would not use it for massage. It washed off easily with soapy warm water and a washcloth. We did use a Liberator throe and after we were done, we washed it and there were no stains or visible spots.
    • Feels natural
    • Long lasting
    • Not compatible with all materials

I received the 16 oz size so what I will write applies to that package--I can only assume that the packaging is the same for all sizes. This is a large oval shaped flexible plastic pump dispenser bottle. It is made easy to grasp with grooves along the left side for your fingers to grasp. It is clear with a black cap.

The pump works well and has not clogged, which can be a problem for some products. A dime sized amount of lube comes with each pump, making it very easy to dispense as much as you want. If you need to reapply while using, the pump makes it easy to do so with only one hand.

There is a label on the front identifying the product as "ID Millennium", long lasting pure silicone lubricant.
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Travel friendly
    • Very informative packaging

This is one of the smoothest and lonest lasting lube we have used. I do prefer "Fusion", which is a very thin silicone lube but this is a very close 2nd. We need to use alot of lubricant during sex and this ID Millenium really fit the bill for us. I do not hesitate recommending it to anyone looking to try a good, moderately thick, long lasting silicone lubricant.
Follow-up commentary
We have used this several times now for vaginal sex and hand jobs. I have also used it for masturbation and have always found that the lubrication a small amoung does the job. For extended sessions you will need to reapply, but always get the results you want!!! This is the silicone lube for all needs, but remember, it is not compatible with silicone and other toys. Enjoy!!!
