This is a lube that is great for any situation, whether you're using it for decreased natural moisture, or just to make things glide a little more smoothly. It's very long lasting, doesn't get sticky, and makes playing in the water even more wet. There's no more friction during any of your sexual pleasures. You can sneak off for some fun in the middle of the day, and it won't leave you feeling sticky and uncomfortable. Your skin will thank you! The alternate uses are great also.
Water play friendly, Long lasting, Not sticky, Leaves skin feeling silky soft, Easy cleanup
A bit pricey, Runny, flammable, Not compatible with silicone toys

extremely useful review

This is an all around great lube. It's a lube that most people can use, since it's for sensitive skin. It's also a vegan product. Plus, it can be used for just about every sensual situation -- including vaginal intercourse, anal play, water play, and much more. It is L-Arginine free, glycerin free, paraben free, and petrochemical free.

You apply small amounts at a time to the preferred body area until the desired slippery feeling is reached, and then apply more as needed. It doesn't take much, and it really keeps things slick and friction free. Even anal play is very comfortable with this lube! So, feel free to use this lube for any situation -- other than use with silicone toys.

Since this is a silicone based lube, silicone toys can begin to break down and get tacky feeling from being used with this lube. It can cause hygiene issues as the toys material changes, so it won't sterilize anymore, and it will shorten the life of your toy in general. You could use your silicone toys if you put a condom or toy cover on them, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

Since this is a water resistant lube, it can be used in bath, shower, hot tub, or any other water situation. Caution must be taken though, as bath and shower surfaces get very slippery if the lube gets spilled, or is just transferred to the surfaces. It's advised to use a handle or something to stabilize yourself or your partner. To clean those bathroom surfaces, just use some and water and it will come right off.

There are many other ways you can use the lube other than the traditional ways. My partner and I also use it for massage. It really doesn't take much, and it takes the friction and pulling sensation away from your skin that comes with a deep tissue massage. This can be a great way to start things heating up, and to relax your partner to get them in the mood.

If you use condoms, you have probably experienced having one break at some point in time. Before putting the condom on, place a few drops in the tip of it. This will reduce the friction that happens with normal intercourse, reducing your chances of breakage and increasing the sensation for the man. You can also apply it to your genitals daily to increase your natural moisture, making your body more comfortable even when you're not sexually active.

If you have never used this product, I would test it on your hand or arm before using it anywhere else to make sure that there is no reaction. Even though it is for sensitive skin, some people may still have allergies to the ingredients used in its creation.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

I noticed right away that this lube is very runny. It pours very quickly out of bottle. When you rub it in between your fingers though, it feels thicker than you would imagine based on its appearance while pouring. It is still thinner than some silicone lubes. It feels very silky and smooth, not oily, greasy, or sticky. Apply it in small amounts at a time until you reach your desired amount. Putting too much on at once just causes it to run right off of you. For this reason, I wish it was a little thicker; getting careless or carried away in the moment may cause you to end up laying in a puddle of lube. Also, rubbing it in slightly when you apply it seems to keep it in place a little better. My skin did feel velvety afterwards, which was wonderful.

Taste / Aroma

It is a clear and completely odorless lube, in my experience. It is not recommended to swallow the lube, however if you happen to get some in your mouth by chance, it is non-toxic. The taste is not a good one, though, it's a very bitter, almost chemical taste. So, I do recommend doing any oral activities before using this product.

You do need to reapply this lube from time to time for long play sessions, and when things get rough. However, for the most part, it is very long lasting. A little goes a long way, so there's no need to get carried away -- unless you like it very slippery. Anywhere you get the product, just rub it in and then wipe off the excess. It will leave your skin feeling velvety soft and absolutely wonderful. One touch from your partner and you may be starting from the beginning all over again, and who would complain about that?

It isn't like some lubes where you feel sticky and gross afterwards, and have to jump straight in the shower before going on about your day. I absolutely love that I can have a midday quickie and not only do I not have to stop to clean up, but my skin feels like I just left the spa. If you do want to cleanup, or if you get it on something, use warm water and soap and it will come off easily.

Not being compatible with my silicone toys is definitely a negative though, as a lot of my favorite toys are ruled out.

As with a lot of silicone lubes, it may stain some fabrics. You can check this by placing a small amount on a discreet place that doesn't show on the fabric, and then washing to see if it comes out. I accidentally got some on my sheets since it is so runny, but it came completely clean with no oily spots left behind. It may be a good idea to put something under you to protect furniture, or your good fabrics. Also, if the product causes any irritation, you should stop using it immediately and consult your physician. Try to avoid getting in your eyes and ears, but if it occurs, flush it out immediately and seek medical advice.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely

It comes in a clear bottle with a black flip top cap. The cap is easy to open, even with one hand. I would keep the bottle upright at all times as it may leak. If traveling with this bottle, place it in a Ziploc bag, or open the lid and cover the top with Saran Wrap, and then close. The smaller bottles are the most ideal to travel with, as they will fit in most anything.

It's easy to tell what this product is, but it's not something that stands out unless it's by itself. The wording and appearance of the bottle is very professional. There isn't any specific instructions on the bottle about use -- it has very discreet wording. The back label clarifies that it is silicone based, sensitive skin safe, and will not harm latex or condoms (definitely a plus). Something that concerned me a little is that the product is listed as being flammable, so do not it use near candles, or any open flame. You wouldn't want to heat up your evening quite that much.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Easy to use / dispense

Special Features

Many people still don't understand why a lube may be necessary. Many women have issues with vaginal dryness. It can be caused by many things, even over the counter medications, and your moisture level can vary from day to day. Many have the misconception that if their partner isn't getting wet, they aren't turning them on, and that is simply false. There's no need to cause friction and discomfort when there are lubes out there to ease all of that. Adding lube, even without any issues in the moisture department, can increase sensations, and your entire sexual experience.
    • Increases sensitivity
    • Helps with natural moisture issues

Personal comments

Ingredients include: Cyclomethicon, Dimethicone, and Dimethiconol.

There are several sizes available for purchase: 2.5oz, 4.9oz, 8.5oz, and a 16oz pump.

My partner and I tend to get a little rough at times, and we do a little bit of anal play. I have noticed that with a lot of lubes I am still sore after the fact, no matter how much we use. I did not experience that with ID Millennium -- there was no sore or sensitive areas at all, even after many hours. I have used this product in some very long play sessions, lasting over 3 hours. We did have to reapply it several times, but in small amounts. It really doesn't take much, and it lasts a long time. Looking at the bottle after our session, it appeared that we barely used any.
Follow-up commentary
I still really like this lube, but I am experimenting with many different kinds right now to see the differences. It still amazes me how long one bottle of ID can last. It's definitely a great value for the price.
