Good Head by Doc Johnson is intended for oral sex, and to help with a person's gag reflex. It's specially designed formula is meant to numb the throat so that the user can give 'Good Head' to their man. This product is also meant to add a little flavor into your routine, and can be used on women as well if your partner is female, or if your man wants to go down on you. However, do not use this as a lubricant as it can cause yeast infections due to the ingredients, which I will go into in the Taste/Aroma section. If you're looking to spice up your oral, this is a great option if you don't just like the taste of bare skin.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced user, you're sure to find something to love about this product. If you like the taste of candy or sweets, Good Head might be great for you to try out.

The consistency of Good Head is a watery gel formula, which lacks viscosity once it has heated to the body. When in the tube, the gel formula comes out very easy, but doesn't pour out into your hand like other water-based lubricants would. It's also water-based, but because it's a 'gel', it doesn't drip everywhere when you're placing it on a fingertip. Holding your fingertip upright once the gel has been placed on it, Good Head will drip down your finger slowly, but not so fast that you won't have time to apply it to your desired area. If you're looking for a product that won't be too messy or drip/pour out everywhere, Good Head is a great product in that sense.

When the product is on your skin, such as your fingertips, and you rub them together, it creates a smooth, almost velvet-like lubrication that is slick and doesn't get sticky as it absorbs into the skin. The texture of the gel is comparable to that of liquid candy drops, without the stickiness that results in the drops drying on the skin. With Good Head, you can expect the product to not only last, but to leave you without any residue should you miss some on your endeavors.

When first opening the tube, you're not met with any scents straight from the bottle (unless your waving it about to waft the scent toward you), however, once applied to the skin, the products scent is easily noticeable. Because the tube I purchased was the 'Delicious Green Apple', my product had a strong, candy-like scent of green apples. While it's not overpowering, it doesn't smell like you stepped into an orchard of apples, but rather a factory producing Jolly Rancher green apple candy. The scent had a bite to the senses, but wasn't overpowering in a bad way. If you're applying this, the scent will be easily carried to your nose, and if you're sensitive to smells, this might not be the best product for you.

As far as taste goes, it's about what you'd expect from an edible gel. The flavor of the Green Apple is present, but is a bit overpowered by the saccharine sweetness that follows it. The hints of apple were light, and refreshing, but the fake sugar-y flavor masked it more than helped to bring it out. It tasted like sweet-n-low with a hint of jolly rancher candy. However, the flavor does it's job in masking the taste of skin, and so I can't really fault it too much, as it is a delightful taste. An upside to the flavor is that it doesn't really leave an aftertaste, and it doesn't taste like chemicals.

The ingredients for the Green Apple are as follows:

DI water, glycerin, cellulose gum, natural and artificial flavors, vaccinium augustifolium (bluberry) fruit extract, fragaria chiloensis (strawberry) fruit extract, rubus idaeus (raspberry) fruit extract, butylene glycol, ethanol, diazolidinyl urea, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, sodium saccharine, citric acid, FD & C red # 40

The gel itself also has a green tint to it in the green apple flavoring, so there may be more dyes than those listed on the ingredients. For those with glycerin allergies, you'll want to stay away from this. Ladies, don't get this inside of your vagina because it can cause yeast infections.

Good Head Oral Delight Gel does surprisingly well when it comes to lasting, that is, if you're not licking the area. Because it's an edible gel it almost immediately disappears as soon as your tongue swipes over it, no matter how thick of a layer the gel is. Because it is water-based, it's fairly easy to remove the gel from your skin without it leaving a residue behind. This gel doesn't leave behind a flavor after the first lick either, so if you need more, you'll have to keep re-applying it if you're eating this stuff like candy. It does however stay on the skin for as long as you need it without evaporating too quickly.

If you've licked all of the product off of your partner's body, you don't have to worry about cleanup as it doesn't leave behind a sticky feeling once it has dried, and because it comes off easily, your saliva will suffice in getting the gel off your applied area, which makes things more fun anyway. If you do have leftover gel and decide to clean it off with water, it rinses off easily due to the water base. What I liked most about this product was the taste, although it might not be for everyone due to the sweetness. What's not so great about this product is how quickly it runs down the skin once it has taken to the body temperature. It does absorb into the skin nicely, and it feels natural when applied.

Good Head is packaged inside of a squeezable tube, and is color coordinated by the flavors it comes in. My Green Apple gel came inside of a bright green tube with white accents. The tube itself has the name in big print inside of a phallic shaped logo on the front. It states that the gel is paraben free and pH balanced, is made in the USA, and is a 4oz tube of product. On the back of the tube it tells the consumer that the secret to blowjobs has been well kept until now, and has the barcode.

The packaging that the tube came in is a simple box with the same logo that is on the tube (the phallic shape with the name inside). On the back of the box, all of the flavors that are available are listed with the various shapes/pictures of the fruit that they coincide with. The box is black with green accents to coincide with the flavor, and is aesthetically pleasing as far as visually.

The box itself is recyclable, and if your area recycles the tube, it is also recyclable. If you're giving this gel as a gift and want to keep things discreet, you can wrap the box in wrapping paper or stick it in a gift bag. Just be sure to tell the person you're giving it to that there's something of adult nature inside if they decide to open it around guests and are easily embarrassed.

This gel is meant to give the user a tingling sensation while also numbing the throat for ease of the gag reflex. While I didn't experience this numbing effect personally, others might find that the product works for them in these areas. While not one of the features, it does create a cool sensation once applied to the skin (mainly because it's a gel), and blowing on it creates a sensation all of it's own to the person it is applied to.

I've tried a lot of edible lubricants before, and so far this has been the only one that I've liked. It's flavor was strong but not so much that it made me gag. The texture and consistency of the gel didn't feel overbearingly weird when I licked it. My experience with creams and lubricants in the past is that I've found them too thick for me, and left me feeling like I was licking lotion or some kind of cleaner. This gel just made me feel like I was licking candy drops without the aftertaste and stickiness. It was nice for once to have a gel that appeals to me rather than deters me from ever using it again, which of course makes for an overall pleasant experience when you're with your partner, as you aren't left with needing to wipe it off and thus ruining the mood.
