More like Wet Aluminum...
Overall, this is a mediocre lube. It does not provide enough lubrication to make penetration comfortable for me. It is waterproof, but it is also virtually impossible to wash off ANYTHING! It will always have a place in my home... as a hair product.

Pros
Masculine bottle, waterproof
Cons
Not enough lubrication, pretty much impossible to wash off
The Wet Platinum Premium Bodyglide does exactly what it promises: it stays wet longer. But it does not stay very wet. I have a lot of pelvic floor difficulties and the lubrication was insufficient to alleviate my discomfort.
It's damn near impossible to wash off. I used it in the bath with my Dilator Set and it left a really slippery film all over me and the bath tub that would not wash off, even with soap. Even waterproof silicone lubes should come off with soap! When I was done using my dilators, I stood up to wash my legs and almost lost my balance due to the slippery film that covered my tub. Granted, the bottle does include a warning, "Very slippery, clean spills immediately," but there is no suggestion as to how one might do that! I have quick reflexes, so I was able to regain my balance. However, I worry that people who may have slower reflexes (such as some seniors or people with cerebral palsy) may fall and end up seriously injured if the lube were to spill on their feet or the floor.
The ingredients listed on the bottle are "Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol". Dimethicone is present in many different cosmetics but is an allergen for an unfortunate minority of the population. Cyclomethicone is thought to be toxic and is non-biodegradable. However, Dimethiconol is not known to cause any adverse health effects. I did not experience any irritation from this lube (and I have very sensitive skin/membranes) although I did find the lubrication insufficient. The ingredients are quite similar to products for dry hair so, although it does not really work as a lube for me, it works wonders on my dry, curly hair!
The lube comes in a little black bottle. It looks sleek and somehow masculine, which is good for more masculine types who might not like the feminine packaging on lubes marketed toward women.
When I first bought this lube, I did not realize it was silicone-based and ended up using it with a silicone toy (specifically the Sedeux Please) with no adverse effects. However, don't try this at home! Keep it away from your silicone toys!

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I still have this stuff, but I only use it if I can't find any of my other lubes...and I'm out of olive oil in the kitchen. It's my last resort.
