Neither Wet, Nor Ecstatic

As much as I like the cooling effects it has, they don't last long and neither does this lube. This would do better as poorly tasting massage oil than a lubricant as this also contains glycerin which might trigger allergies and cause yeast infections. That combined with the short duration that this lasts, makes it a poor lube but decent massage oil.

Use

Wet Ecstasy, a cooling lube, is supposed to enhance sensation and arousal. You can use it for both masturbation and sex. This product contains glycerin however, so anyone with a glycerin allergy or is predisposed to yeast infections should avoid this product. As this is water based, it will definitely not work under water, so fun in the shower or bath with this product is a no go.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube is a bit thinner than I had expected. It dries out fast and when it is spread thinly it resembles oil. On skin this stays in place well, but on silicone toys this tends to coagulate and therefore doesn't provide the lubrication as it should since it doesn't stay in place well.

Taste / Aroma

This both smells and tastes like menthol; the taste is harsh and really puts me off, but I do like the mentholated scent this has. The scent fades rather quickly however, so this isn't the best for sensual foreplay.

Performance

As I stated earlier, this dries a bit too quickly, but it leaves barely a trace when dried and leaves the skin moisturized. I was worried that this would burn, but it doesn't and does have a very nice cooling sensation on mucous membranes such as the genitals. As this does contain glycerin, many would recommend not using this on the genitals, but I haven't had a problem yet. As stated before, this tends to bead up on silicone toys - which is a problem as it doesn't stay nor does it lubricate well.

Follow-up commentary I've started to like it more 4 months after original review

After a while I tried this again, but this time using a lot more than I normally would (I'm pretty stingy with lube), it still dried up pretty quickly in proportion with the volume used. But the cooling effect was worth it.
