Anal lube medium density - lubricant discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by freud13

I decided to try this product out because I have been exploring anal play more recently and wanted to try an anal lube. Just when I was searching for an anal lube I saw that this medium density anal lube was released from Evolved Novelties. This product is easy to use and is appropriate for beginners and advanced anal play participants. This lube would work for anyone and claims to be safe to use vaginally as well. This lube contains the following ingredients:Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (a thickener that is added to products to increase their viscosity, Glycerin, Purified Water, Propyl Paraben is a preservative that is used in cosmetis, and Methyl Paraben is an anti fungal agent used in cosmetics and personal care products. Propyl Paraben can irritate the skin and cause itching and redness. Anyone with paraben allergies or sensitive skin will want to avoid this product.

The texture of this anal lube is not too thick or too thin. It is easy to pour but not overly watery. It has a nice velvety texture that is not sticky. It doesn't stay in place as well as I would have liked, but it did wash right out of my sheets with no issues at all. It was not greasy and did not leave any permanent stains on either clothing or bed-sheets.

This lube does not contain any flavoring so it just tastes like lube. I tried a tiny bit of the lube and it had a strong lube tastes that I personally do not enjoy but others may not mind. The lube smells like other unflavored lubes that I have owned before.

I used this product twice. Both times the product lasted until I washed it off. I used it anally and had to wash it off with soap and water. As stated above it cleaned off my sheets and pajamas with no problems. I think the product has a great texture and worked well as an anal lube. However, both times I used the lube I experienced a reddening of the skin and itching within 5-10 minutes which is why I washed it off so quickly. I normally don't use products with parabens but decided to try this one out and it did not work out for me personally. For the few minutes I was using it the anal lube felt natural and absorbed into the skin for the most part. Due to the itching I did wash it off with soap and water to ensure I would not continue to have an allergic reaction. I was unable to determine how long the product would last with normal use.

The packaging is strange for this lube. It's called Zero Tolerance and has a giant starfish on the bottle. I would go with the smaller bottle if you are going to travel with this anal lube as that makes it more discreet. The bottle has user instructions printed on it and was easy to use. The bottle opens and closes easily and seems to be pretty leak proof. The bottle squeezes out a minimal amount of lube so it is very mess free. It can be opened with one hand if you are in a passionate moment as well which is quite nice.

I thought this product was okay. I had an allergic reaction to it, but that does not mean that everyone would. If you already use products with parabens and do not have sensitive skin you should be fine.
