Slip slidin' away...

Really good water based lube. Nice slick feel, kinda velvety smooth. May need to re-apply during the long haul. For anal, I'd recommend something thicker, but overall, Colt will stay in my box of goodies for a long time!

Use

An excellent lube for intercourse and masturbation. It has a very nice feel, not sticky. I'd have to say just OK for anal toy use. It tends to run off a bit when applied to a toy, but enough stays to more than get the job done.

Colt has a nice, slick feel to it. Thick enough that it doesn't run out of your hand, and not greasy at all. And it doesn't want to just pour out of the bottle, which to me is a big plus.

I haven't tasted it, so no comment there. It does have a light, fruity scent to it that's not offensive at all, actually quite pleasant.

Performance

It lasts long enough for normal intercourse, but I haven't tried it yet for a really long run. For personal use, I tend to need to reapply occasionally to keep the slickness going for the long haul solo trip. It seemed to dry out somewhat, probably due to it being water based and it being absorbed into the skin. It does have a nice slick feel to it, I prefer it over silicone based ones. They tend to feel almost oily to me. Of all the water-based ones I have tried, Colt is the best so far.

Packaging

Packaged in a bottle with a pop-up top. You do have to squeeze the bottle to get it to flow out, so either 2 handed or squeeze and apply to target area. A pump would make it perfect for one handed application.

Personal comments

Good stuff. Of the waterbased lubes I've tried, Colt is my favorite. It's nice that you don't have to go wash up to get rid of any sticky feeling. Way better than the days of KY! Now if they had Colt gel for anal fun, I'd be all set!
