Ultra - silicone-based lubricant by Wicked - review by PassionCpl

For a while, my wife and I never used lubes for sex. She gets wet quickly and naturally and I produce a lot of precum. So for most things, that was always enough. Then we began pegging so had to get something for me and our silicone toys. The usual, less adventurous water-based lubes like KY and Astroglide were our starters and worked pretty well.

After discovering EF and sampling many of the water-based lubes, we started getting into toys that we'd previously never considered. Things like glass and steel have eventually worked their way into our play, and to be honest even our favourite Sassy Booty lube wasn't cutting it. So we decided to give silicone lubes a try. But where to begin? Well luckily we found one of the best straight away - Wicked's Ultra Silicone lube Actually this could be THE best silicone lube out there - the problem is that we'd have to test a lot of them to be sure and, well we just don't want to try any other now!

This is one of those products where every single review seems too good to be true. Sometimes I like to see at least one negative review so I can gauge whether there truly are any cons to something, but that proved to be a tough job with this. The price maybe? If you'd told me 2 years ago that I'd be paying $25 for a bottle of lube I'd have laughed and told you that a good bottle of wine will do the same trick and is more enjoyable. Now I'd give the opposite answer - this gets the juices flowing far better than any wine I've ever tried, plus it lasts longer!

The lube arrived sealed in a clear plastic bag. The bottle is tinted black plastic and appears almost opaque at times. It's not though, but is actually more like a smoked plastic. If there's light behind it you can see exactly how much lube is in there. It's pretty discreet-looking, and the combination of black plastic, minimal graphics and pump top mean that this could possibly pass for an expensive men's grooming product.

Ultra lube is fragrance free, almost tasteless (there's a tiny, tiny bitter taste that's so slight it can almost be ignored), and is completely vegan, cruelty-free and (apparently) PETA-certified. That alone would be a good reason to use this, but the huge bonus of this being an amazingly slick, long-lasting lube mean that this lube is simply second-to-none.

Ingredients: Dimethicone, Dimethiconol (yep, that's all!)

You really need so little of this lube that despite the small bottles, a little really goes a long way. We've had our 4oz bottle for about 8 months now and are only just half way through it!

Just be aware that this lube almost never dries out. If you get some on your hand then you hold the bottle in the same hand, the bottle's going to be slick forever (or until you give it a clean & wipe down). Since it stays slick and since silicone lube will stain, I suggest wrapping this in a plastic bag if you're going to travel with it.

The first time we used this, we actually pumped too much. We had spent a little time making out and touching and decided on some anal sex to finish. Since we'd been used to water-based lubes and had never used silicone ones before, I pressed the pump a couple of times to get a good amount into the palm of my hand. That was mistake number one - it ran all over the place, leaving a nice stain on the bedclothes. Since I didn't want to waste what was left on my hand, I applied some to myself then massaged the remainder between my wife's cheeks. Both of us were amazed by the feeling - silky smooth is a great description of this. It really does feel like liquid silk. My wife enjoyed the feeling so much that she asked me to keep rubbing for a while rather than sliding a finger or the tip of my cock into her. I wasn't going to complain - I love caressing her back there anyway, but the Ultra lube made it ten times more sensual. I won't bore you with the graphic details, but once we were ready for full-on anal this made for an incredible experience. Anal sex has been part of our lovemaking routine ever since we first met, but since discovering Wicked Ultra, we never have anal without it now. Another plus is that this almost never has to be reapplied. We'll use maybe two pumps to cover both of our 'bits' for anal, and those two pumps will not only last for the entire session but we're still just as slick when we're finished.

We've tried this for regular PIV sex, and while we don't need it, it still feels wonderful. Again, part of the thrill of using it is because of how it makes our skin feel when we're applying it. Another excellent use has been with our Njoy Pure Wand. Since that's steel, it only needs a little lube at the best of times, but with the Ultra, it barely even takes one lightly-pressed pump to get the wand incredibly slick. Oh and I'm sure this lube played a big part in being able to take the larger end of the Pure Wand anally!
