Use

Wicked's "Ultra" silicone lubricant will keep things moist from the bed to the bath, as it's made to last longer than a water-based counterpart, which is why this type of product is ideal for anal sex too. It's also safe to use with latex condoms, but it should never be used in conjunction with a silicone toy, as it could break down the material. In the bath or shower, it won't wash away as easily, unless thoroughly removed with soap and water.

Unless someone has an allergy to silicone lubricants, this one is relatively safe, touting several different selling points such as: fragrance-free, glycerin free, paraben free, and vegan. If that doesn't make someone want to give this product a try, what will?

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lubricant is clear and isn't much thicker than many water-based lubes. If anything, it's probably a bit less runny. It does feel much more oily once rubbed in and will leave a sheen on the skin, which initially feels a bit greasy until it's fully rubbed in; then it just feels moisturizing and velvety. It's not intended to absorb completely, which is why it's longer-lasting! Water will bead off the surface of this lube, as intended. It won't spill all over the place either, as it's packaged in a convenient pump bottle that dispenses just shy of a quarter-size amount of the product.

Taste / Aroma

Minimal ingredients make this lubricant a wise choice for sensitive users looking for a silicone product, as it only contains Dimethicone and Dimethiconol. There's absolutely no smell and barely any taste to it; however, this is not marketed as an edible lubricant.

Performance

In the shower, this product performed wonderfully with just one or two pumps. Extra precaution should be taken not to drip any excess product on shower or bath surfaces, as it can be very slippery. Again, removal of this product must be done thoroughly with a mild soap and water. It can stain fabrics, so do not use with good linens or lingerie. Never use a silicone lubricant with silicone toys!

It is not intended to be used as a contraceptive and, should irritation occur, discontinue use immediately.

Packaging

The black plastic bottle, available in a 2 oz travel size or 4 oz size, is classic and subtle. The convenient one-finger pump dispenser keeps foreign bodies out of the main product. The packaging is recyclable (1) and the product is good for 24 months.

Experience

The only use I'm every going to have for silicone lubricants is for anal sex, since I'm not one to have sex in the shower. No complaints when it came to using it for my intended purpose. I still prefer to use a water-based lubricant with all my toys, but if I had to choose a silicone one, Wicked's Ultra would be it.
