JO H2O lubricant - water-based lubricant by System JO - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

This was the first lube I have purchased and I'm extremely glad I chose this one. It can be used for just about everything and performs beautifully each time. System JO H2O is water based and compatible with all toys and condoms. Sometimes I can be sensitive to ingredients in certain lubes but this one has never caused me any problems. This simple formula contains Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water which is a relatively short list compared to some of the other brands of lube out there.

I've used this with toys on several occasions and a little goes a long way. I used it with my Cal Exotics Platinum Edition Jack Rabbit to add a little glide to the sometimes sticky surface TPE with fantastic results. I needed only about a dime-sized amount and insertion and play were a breeze.

Even though System JO makes special lubricants for anal play, this one worked well for that purpose, also. It isn't extremely thick but it stays slick and smooth and does not need reapplying very often. You might need to apply a bit more often for anal play than anything else, though.

I even use this lube for inserting body jewelry! I sometimes have problems getting jewelry into my stretched earlobes but I dab a little of this on and it does the trick. I love that it doesn't irritate my skin or feel greasy and when used on body jewelry it provides a nice glide for hours.

When doing the finger test of rubbing a small drop between your fingers you will be impressed with how silky, velvety and smooth this lube is. It is somewhere in between a gel and a liquid in consistency which is good because it doesn't run all over the place and stays where it's needed.

It is long-lasting and doesn't need frequent reapplication. I have found that it absorbs into the skin nicely and doesn't leave a greasy or oily feeling afterwards. Instead, you will feel moisturized and soft.

Washing it off is a breeze! It's gone with a little soap and water. Sometimes you just simply need to wipe it off with a tissue or cloth and there is no residue left behind. It will leave marks on your sheets if it is spilled but these usually come right off in the wash.

This lube has no smell or taste at all! It gives a feeling of a more natural experience. The ingredients are quite simple with no added flavors or scents.

I would have to say that System JO H2O is my ideal lube. It is perfect for just about any application and use. It works beautifully for even the tackiest of toys and is compatible with all materials. It is great for vaginal and anal penetration and does not need to be reapplied as often as other lubes. It gives a wonderfully natural feeling without being sticky or needing to be washed off.

I tend to have reactions to quite a few different lubricants and itch the next day. Sometimes the lube on condoms will cause me some irritation. This lube is pretty simple and contains only a small number of ingredients which do the job very well.

I bought a bottle of this stuff a few months ago and use it regularly and still have quite a bit left. It is very economical!
