Platinum silicone lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by SexyLilPixi

I have been using Wet lubricants for years, and have yet to even try anything different since. For the brand, this lube seems to be the cream of the crop.

Silicone-based, it is so silky and thin and non-sticky. It lasts long, and a little goes a very long way. Because it is silicone, be sure not to use it with toys made out of silicone as well. I've read that it's because the combination will dissolve the material of the toy, leaving it sticky.

It doesn't have the greatest of smells and tastes, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it be used orally. Even though it is non-sticky, it's not something you want to mistakenly pour too much of, or things will get extremely slippery & messy, and not so easy to clean up.

It literally feels like pure liquid silk, and it's just a fun and pleasant lube to use. It really demonstrates the differences in the textures of silicone-based lubricants versus others in my opinion. If silicone could be used on all toys, I would never go back to something different again, even in dire need. Which, honestly, most of the time I don't even require or use a lube. But if I do feel like having one around (which, who doesn't just in case), I'm always running for this.

It's good for toys, solo, anal, and couple use. Although, again, because it's silicone, it is harder to wash off the skin than water-based lubricants. It can keep the skin really slick and slippery, and not wipe off so easily, and you'll then need the aid of soap and water. The outside of the bottle itself can also get excessively messy & can be very hard to clean off once that happens.

Silicone is worth the higher price you may have to pay over water-based lubes. The silky feel and the thin consistency can't be beat.

Even though I'm not a big fan of lubricants and haven't tried many different kinds at all, I still love this stuff on those rare occasions that it's needed. Sometimes I'm just not sexually excited or in the mood, but still want to get off, if that makes sense. For those times, a little bit of this can go a long way and is always reliable, silky, and non-sticky.
