Love liquid - lubricant discontinued by Kama Sutra - review by Wookin-Pa-Nub

Lately we've been on the hunt for good water-based lubes and this one hits the mark pretty close. Usually we lean toward the silicone-based lubricants but with our collection of silicone toys on the rise a water-based lubricant was a must. This Love liquid lubricant seems to hold up pretty well during toy play and we rarely have to re-apply it during the heat of the moment. I don't think we have ever had to re-apply during sex and it never gets sticky or tacky on us. We haven't tried it during anal play yet and since it's a rather light lubricant, it may not be the best choice for that. With such a light consistency it will definitely run on you rather than stay in one spot. Keep this in mind as it can tend to get messy if your not careful when applying it.

I can't honestly say if there is a taste but there is definitely no noticeable odor with this lubricant. I can also safely say that it won't stain the bed sheets either. The other nice feature is the ease of opening and closing the bottle. In our opinion, there's nothing more annoying than fumbling around with a slippery bottle of lube when you’re trying to open and close it in the heat of the moment. You can easily open and close this bottle with one hand just by flipping up the cap and snapping it close. Easy as that! I know there have been some complaints about the lid but I find it simple and affective. In the past we've had problems with lubricants that have caps that twist off or unscrew. It seems like they are always getting lost in the covers or ending up on the floor. The flip cap lid was a nice change of pace and easy to operate.

The ingredients in this product are supposed to mimic a woman's natural lubrication, which means there has been extra attention put toward creating a safe non-toxic lube. For women who are extra sensitive to foreign substances, this could be a great choice. It also seems to wash off fairly easily and will absorb into the skin rather than gumming up or getting sticky. It may be priced a little higher than average but we feel it's worth a few extra bucks.

Ok, so in my review I stated that this lubricant doesn't stain the sheets. However, the more we used it, the more I noticed that it does seem to leave a wet looking spot on the sheets even after you'd think it would be dry. It washes out fine but you can still see it the next day after use. We still like the lubricant and will keep using it!
