Opaque knee high - knee highs discontinued by Music legs - review by pootpootpoot

I really didn't expect much from this set; it was just a cheap addition to my cart that would hopefully match the top and short set I was buying (turned out it didn't, unfortunately - the pinks were completely different and clashed). However, I was pleasantly surprised!

The socks came in a small cardboard envelope, nothing special and not terribly suited for storage (I keep mine in a ziploc bag to avoid snags and just toss it in my underwear drawer). Their color is bold and very very bright, almost a neon pink. To me it seems more like something you'd wear to a rave than anything else, but with the right coordination they could work for an everyday outfit.

The fabric is very soft and stretchy, and as they fit me well with no problems and my calves are far from dainty, I imagine they'd work for most people (though the more they stretch, the farther they'll be from knee-high and the less opaque they'll be. Mine hit about half an inch below my knee, and I'm just above the socks' height limit (5'-5'10") and about ten pounds above their weight limit (100-175 pounds).

The construction of the socks is nothing too special - they're pretty much just tubes with a small seam across the toe. They're folded and sewn over at the opening to provide a sort of waistband, and it worked well enough that I rarely had to adjust the socks while wearing them. If you're going to be extra active, you can always invest in some sock glue to keep them in place.

Because they're socks, they can absolutely be worn during intercourse, and are compact enough to fit into even your jeans' pockets for travel. To clean them, hand-wash or spot-clean using cold water and hang lay flat to dry. These socks are hardier than many of my pantyhose, and even those with long toenails shouldn't have to worry about ripping them when putting them on (though you should file down and points or jagged edges).

I can't say I find these socks all that sexy, except as part of a pink-themed schoolgirl outfit (and even then I'd prefer thigh-highs). As I stated above, the color is stellar and the construction is great, so I wish I could find more situations to wear them, but all I can see them as is an addition to a rave outfit. I'll probably end up giving these to a friend of mine who's more into that scene.
