Opaque knee high - knee highs discontinued by Music legs - review by jessi2

I bought these knee highs as an accessory to a naughty schoolgirl costume a while ago. I ordered the black set and was very pleased with the quality. I wore them with heels to a costume party, and they held up wonderfully. I did not get any snags or runs while dancing.

The stockings are made by Music Legs Hosiery and are made of nylon. They arrive in a plastic bag surrounded by a cardboard label. Inside the wrapping is a piece of cardboard placed there in order to give the packaging support and to keep the stockings flat. They only come in "one size fits all" variety, but on the package it suggests use by someone 5'-5'10" (100-175 pounds). Currently I am just above 175 pounds, and I had no issue wearing these!

Out of the package, before wearing, they measured 16 inches from top to bottom. The top of the knee high has a 1 1/2 inch elastic band that keeps the stocking up. They are very stretchy and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

These stockings are opaque unless you stretch them out too much. Then they have more of a black panty hose look to it. For comfort, I kept them about three inches under my knee, and they looked great. The toe is stitched very well, and I had no issues with my toes poking through during wear, as I have had with other stockings. For me, they were not too tight, but after wearing them for an entire evening, I had red lines on my calves from the bands.

I bought the black pair, and I absolutely love them. I did not encounter any design flaws or issues with this product at all. It's a great product for a great price.

Since they are made of nylon, please hand wash only. Do not iron or dry in a machine, as they would melt. Hang to dry instead.

I used these as an accessory for a costume, but I also wore them under my knee high, leather boots, and they held up nicely. This is a great product!

I have had these stockings for a while and I have worn them a few more times more recently. I wore them as trouser socks under slacks for work. They are comfortable and durable.

When they come back into stock, I may consider ordering the other colors as well!
