Opaque knee high - hosiery by Music legs - review by Upyourreviews

I am ADDICTED to knee-highs and when I saw these, I immediately purchased them. These are your average knee-highs, nothing fancy but does the trick. Compared to trouser socks I normally purchase, or my striped nylons, these are practically the same thing for a good price.

They arrived in a plastic package (shown below) that is typical of this type of garment. Made from Music Legs, Style 5747-K747, the ones I received were the red. The color is very vibrant! It's very hard to find a nice cherry red stocking so I was pleasantly surprised to see that these actually were!





These measure about 15" long un-stretched, and I can pull them to about 30".
Width is a bit over 3" un-stretched, and I can pull them to about 8".
It's not recommended that you need that much stretch though and should take off 5" to the stretched measurements to ensure your comfort.

The top has a band about 1 1/2" that is very cozy and non-irritating. At the toe there is one seam that is noticeable. I have some extra material hanging off the sides but my shoe size is a 6 US, so that may be why. I always have trouble finding socks small enough for my feet that aren't TOO small as with children's socks.

The package states these are for people between 5' and 5'10". I am 5'3" with plenty of room to go over my knee if I'd like. However, I believe these would fit long legs if they were skinny. As for weight, the package states from 100 to 175 pounds. I am 230 pounds and I have lots of room left. Keep in mind that my legs are pretty small for my weight, but I still believe these would fit thicker legs.

These are made from 100% Nylon and made in Taiwan. They SHOULD be line dried but I always throw mine in the dryer. However if you do this be prepared for it to pick up lint after a few washes. Do not iron, bleach, or wash on hot!

As these are nylon, the more they stretch the sheerer they get. With me, they were perfect! They presented a little sheer while still retaining its amazing cherry red! This goes so perfect with my calf high boots! They are also nice and warm as a layer under knee-highs boots for the winter. These are now a part of an outfit with black boots, a black skirt, a cherry red tank top, and a black fishnet shawl. The color really shows off your legs and draws attention to them! If you're like me who doesn't have much else to show off, you'll love the way they highlight your sexy legs!



Although you can find similar stocking most everywhere, these really are a great product for the money. It's hard to find trouser socks in as vibrant colors for the same price, and cheaper brands always have issues with threads and runs. So far these have been top of the line! I have had no loose threads, tearing, runs, or shifting. I am definitely foaming at the mouth to get more of these!

These are still a GREAT pair of stockings! I've purchased them in every color and wear them at least half the week. They look great with a pair of calf high boots and short skirt. They have held up nicely even though I machine wash them and have yet to run or bleed. Overall, a great nylon stocking for all occasions!
