Wet look booty short - shorts discontinued by Coquette - review by biancajames

I bought these shorts to wear with this buster, since the g-string that accompanies plus size lingerie invariably barely covers my fupa, leaving my gut hanging out in a rather unflattering way, and the shiny look matched the pvc on the buster. While I was disappointed by the wet look stockings, I did like these, and think they look very sexy.

Since "plus size" is an incredibly vague concept, I will break down how it fit me. I wear a 2X/3X, and I carry a lot of my weight in my lower belly and voluptuous butt, so these booty shorts were a bit skimpy on me. If you are more of an XL/1X I imagine they would give you better coverage. I was hoping I could wear these clubbing over fishnets, but they are way too skimpy on me for that. They are cut in a flattering way, though- my lower butt cheeks are emphasized in a very sexy and tantalizing way, there is decent coverage on the hips, and it covered more of my stomach that a g-string, though I'd really prefer an extra inch or two covering my juicy belly. That's really my only complaint about these shorts: they dip a bit low in front if you have a large lower-belly. However I don't think that's a huge problem for bedroom wear- it's just not enough coverage for wearing in public as "shorts."

The fabric is a stretchy nylon/spandex blend that is smooth on the inside and coated with the wet look finish on the outside. They don't make your cellulite look worse the way some shiny/stretchy fabrics will- they look very smooth. Care for the shorts by washing them in cold water and letting them air dry, as I don't think they'd survived being washed/dried on hot.

So, whether or not these would work for you would depend largely on how much skin you want to show- they are definitely a good look for women with thick hips and butts, esp. if you have fantasies of looking like a rap video vixen (I do!!!) These would definitely be a great thing to wear if you're involved with a butt lovin' partner, since they really do emphasize that area in a sexy way. But they are not really "club wear" perse, unless you work at a strip club.

I still think these shorts are really cute, I just wish they gave me a teeny bit more tummy coverage! I will wear them under a negligee or bustier, but probably not with just a bra.
